Jessica looks up and nods greeting to the satyr. "Well, just to make you welcome here for your stay."

"I confess" He smiles roguishly, "It's good to be young again" but he looks a bit wistful

"Yeah, that's... a new one." Jessica puzzles. Then, noticing "Is everything ok?"

"Bitter sweet choice is all, Chaplleh," He tilts his head, "A price for magic this powerful. I will become a dashing young wilder again, full of pep and vinegar, but .. that has a price. One I'm not sure I dare pay."

"Well, STAY a dashing young wilder"

"Fontaine didn't mention that. Can I ask what the price is?"

"Part of the price is I can only tell three people, and must ask them not to tell others. Whether they do not is their choice."

"So I can make you one of them: Would you please not tell others?"

Jessica nods gravely. "I will not tell others of this price."

"One forgets ... their skills go back to what they were at that age, as does their maturity, and knowledge." He sighs "In a few days I will have a choice... it will come sudden, I'm told. "

A blink. "Oh. Wow."

"Yes, the philosphical quandry is staggering. Wonder what August would make of it? Probably intrigue him. " Then he goes on "Or I can remmeber everything, keep my wisdom, and accept grumphood again. Most will choose youth I suspect, but I'm Fiona. I'm not scared of much. I was..tired though. The good news is there's a ..resting area. THis will do me good either way." A pace, "Would love to see Coradel before I change back. Might be fun to show that scarlet minx of a liege how ..." A chuckle "forgive me. Passions getting in front of my manners" He bows a bit

"Um." Not knowing these people, she nods a little blankly. "I'm glad we were able to help."

"Um, how many days is this effect likely to last before you have to choose?"

"you must be careful," Bachdion warns "There are folks that would kill for this magic."

"Even if as gate keeper" then the satyr adds "That too is a power" He tilts his head "3 days.. on the third day... The choice"

Jessica shrugs. "Sir Bachdion, until now I didn't even -know- we had this magic."

"Three days." She nods. "Will you stay with us till then?"

"No no.. I think I should go and see my liege. I'm sure she's fine without me. I mean, what trouble can they get into? " A smile

Jessica nods. "As you wish, of course. Let someone know if you need anything for the trip, or before you go."

"I shall, and thank you again," he looks her over, "Perhaps I could repay you somehow, I am in your debt you know. Should I return to my previous age, and I probably will, I can offer my services as a teacher. Lessons in dance, horseback riding, fencing, some languages and more..." He says "There are some Fiona lessons I could share but I don't mean that as a come on."

Oh dear, she blushes easily. "I'll, um, bear that in mind. Thank you."

"Well, I am indebted, and that , whatever happens, I shan't forget."

"The honor was ours, I'm sure."

"You are beyond gracious. I shall be off.. but of course, there are some I should say fare well too before I go. Is there anything I can do for or with you now? Or ...?"

"No, no, I don't think so. Thank you, though. For the offer."

"in that case, I am off to see to those kind someones" he does not name names or actions, still a gent it seems.

Jessica nods as he goes.

Yup. He has a sexy walk, an easy confidence that isn't too full of himself, just very very sure

And soon she is alone.

She shakes her head briskly. "Time to get back to business."

And so she goes.
