Diego chuckles "is she wrong?"

"Pffft." A dismissive gesture. "All y'all get th' fuck out...I gotta think."

"Tweak, if you need me, or want me at this thing, just let me know. I, um, I need to talk to Duff, too....." Thinking.

The satyrs depart

"I think it gotta be jus' the Cooperative at first...but if you hear gunfire, you fuckin' get yer ass in here." She might be joking, hard to say. "An' if they got weapons goin' again...Fuck if they ain' got buyers, an' we gotta figger out who."

"Tweak, if there's a chance of combat, you have to think of Shuri." Seriously.

"I know. Part o' what I gotta figger out."

"Right. Ok."

Tweak turns in her chair and hunches over her desktop, pulling on her goggles.

"...an' shut th' damn door!"

Jessica does so, looking up and down the hall for Nancy.

Nancy is not hard to find she's looking over a tapestry .EEverything is new to her , everything is..well, magical, she turns, "Hey tall blue and sexy, what's up?"

"Hey. Um. Do you have a moment to talk?"

"I have hooves, horns, and time. " She says, "I don't think Tweak likes me"

"Everyone thinks that. It might be true. Mostly, it's just .... nocker."

"So, um, can you.... kind of summarize for me what Diego's told you so far?"

"huh" She says Then "Well, apparently I'm born of Dreams of passion, music, and more. .. I learned about the Escheat, seems sensible, Banality, the oppression of the people..."

Jessica nods along.

"the other kiths, particularly the sidhe ... "

"Did I mention the oppression of the people?" She says

The troll sighs. "Diego has some very passionately held ideas about that. Not everyone shares them, or has to."

"I don't" She says, "I mean, you guys don't know me, and i ealize I look probably like your typical dumb blonde..." A smirk "Got Tweak riled with that yoga comment but I figured she was going to steam no matter WHAT I said so might as well have fun with her... but I digress. do you remember why I was on this side of the border?"

"Um. No." Blankly.

"I was trying to help refugees get in past the system, I mean, I have some money. So i ..well long story short. I'e seen Democacy as humans have it. I'm not impressed with the results. Don't get me wrong, I'm not crazy about facisms or any other isms, but Diego acts like if every changeling votes there will be an end to injustice, bigotry and more...and I don't know about Kithain, but it doesn't work for humans that way. Seems to me dreaming of a just and good ruler who has some sort of sword in the stone makes as much sense and is likely to happen than angry fearful divided mobs picking a fair and jjust leader. I'm not saying we should do what's right, I'm just ssaying..." She bites her bottom lip "In the end, it's people. You can shuffle em anyway you want, but the good ones will still try to be good ,and the evil ones will be assholes. And it doesn't matter if yo ucall them President, King, or Garbage Man"

Jessica nods. "We've been helping out, here. I don't know about my neighbor-barons, but ... I know Renaissance has been helping, at the checkpoint."

"Right so Diego wants to get worked up about the system. Tear down the system, build up the system. Yadda yadda. I get it, Caesar will have his due, but ...those moments aside? Nancy will do Nancy"

Then a sly smirk, "Unless JK wants to do Nancy instead. That's okay too"

She flushes purple. "No... no, actually, Nancy.... Um. I'm not.... what happened was... not normal. For me! Not my normal.... I'm not gay."

"Sorry to hear that... How long have you felt sad?" She tilts her head, then an easy going stretch which, to be fair, is quite fetching "Okay okay, bad puns that are century old aside... I actually took you for bi, but Diego also told me that the Dream dance is a powereful thing, and I sure remember getting swapt away and..." A sudden horrified look crosses Nancy's face, "holy shit. uhm... JK? Did I... was that...did I... MAKE You .... i mean..." Yes HORROR, "consent is kind of a big deal for me, JK, and if you didn't really and I somehow MADE you..." SHe's going from horrified and now looking a bit queasy as well

"No, no... Nancy, it's ok. That's not what happened."

"It was the Dreaming, the Dream Dance, the Glamour.... that's what happened. Not your fault. You couldn't have know, hell, I couldn't have known. It's ok."

"You didn't make me do anything I didn't want to. I know that." She swallows, still purple.

Still breathing a bit rough from the shock of the idea that she... you know, could DO that, Nancy nods "Good, because I remember.. well , we both kind of took turns suggesting things annd... oh wow, yes. Okay. yeah... we both wanted that. Good." A tilt o her her head, "Are you sure you're not a least Bi? Because you ahm.. you were pretty good for a first itmer"

"I'm pretty sure, yes." Violet. "I have a... well, a boyfriend. Um."

"Oh," A pause, ""Is he cute?" then another pause "I am so sorry I said that . Can I blame these new satyr urges?"

She grins despite the flush. "You can. And yes, I think so."

"I, um, I told him... what happened. He's not mad or anything, so.... I mean, it's ok. But... I'm not looking to make it a, um, a thing."

"But he's not jealous or mad at you?"

"No. Or at you."

"Whew. Good. I do not like to get between folks. Had a married guy hit on me once, use me to cheat on his wife? When I found he was married I.... well, let's just say I had a really great lobster and never ame out of the lady's room"

Jessica nods. "Fae can be.... um, different, about that kind of thing. I'm not, really."

"J.k" Nancy says "Am I dissappointed you don't want to hook up again ? yes. It was a fun time I'd love to repeat. But it it isnot worth making you miserable and i'm not so hard up that I'm going to chase you around like a sex starved cartoon character. You got a guy, that's what makes you happy Then that's where you _Should be. " A sigh "Are shopping and Raves off limits too? I kind of like having company for those"

"Nancy, there are lots of people here at Fenix and in Renaissance who'd be into that; give them a chance. This...." she indicates, ".... is how I usually dress. I'm not... I'm not fancy or anything and I really don't, -don't- dance. I mean... not under my own control. I'd like to be friends, sure, but... did Diego tell you what I do here?"

"It veered between devious sell out to 'heroic protector against the usual status quo." She answers "But essentially I know you're the freeholder, the boss, the big cheese, the HBIC, La Jeffe, th hostesss with the mostest, the tower of power with a hint of a glower, the Chapleh with the pullah, she who must be obeyed while we're in this place."

"Were you talking to Diego, or Ricardo?" With suspicion.

"More than one actually but if he's the Llama guy, him too"

"Well, that makes sense...." She sighs and nods. "Right. I barely have time to see Duff; I probably wouldn't, if my apartment wasn't so close to his place. It's just... it's tough to fit everything in. I do hope we'll be able to hang out, though, and I know we could use your help trying to work with those trying to immigrate."

"Happy to assist," She states "And totally understand, you're a career woman."

A nother pause, "JK?".
