Not that she would.

Father taught her a few wrestling moves, she... Shard finishes his foe and there are cheers. Another rush of glamour fills from dreamers above. Worship of a god of war. Shard closes his eyes, arms uplifted. He is not shy about drinking it in.

Who IS this? She watches closely.

the victorious troll turns to leave, heading towards the very tunnel she's watching from.

She shifts herself into view; not an invitation, but certainly not hiding either.

Shard walks closer, his eyes register surprise only for a moment as he sees her. Then they shift to appriasal, "Well, I'm pretty sure someone snuck down here. " Not a complaint. His accent is definitely more suited to Jamaica or Hati... not too heavy, but exotic. The Ebony pit fighter "Can I help you, little lady?"

"Maybe." She lets her eyes drift over him, down to his toes, back up to his eyes. "We'll see."

A brilliant smile escapes him, "This is a very promising start to a conversation I am thinking. What's your name?"

"What's yours?"

"Shard, thought you heard them chanting it out there," He jerks a thumb back at the pit he just left, "mmm glad i met you after a fight."

She hooks her thumbs into her belt and saunters closer. "You're new around here."

"Joined in this place a few months ago, haven't made a big noise outside of it. You know, they always need a good fighter."

He is definitely checking her out.

"You can get them going. Glamour, that is. You can get the mortals Dreaming."

He shrugs, "Can't we all? It's how we get by"

Yes, but you do it.... better.

"I do a lot of things- better" A flash of a smile

"This is important, though."

"It's not just me," he says, "you sense it. you know. This place is primed. It's been feeding dreams on and off by chance for a while now. All I did? was give it a push."

He moves closer, sweat on his chest, blood on his knuckles, "You want something. Is it the glamour? Help yourself. Just don't break anyone."

She takes in a deep breath, inhaling....

"Do you claim this place, then?"

A pause, and he looks her over, "Depends."

"On?"

"who is wanting to try to take it and how much they want to shut me out of it."

She nods. "Ok. Good to know." She moves past him back out towards the floor and the stairs.

"Hey," He closes behind her, "You never told me who you were?"

"Nope." She agrees, moving on.

For a moment, irritation, perhaps even anger, then, laughter, "have it your way, little lady, have it your way."

She leaves him there and returns to the mass of people above the pit.

And, you know, looks around for Duff.

She does indeed... And finds herself yanked up into the arms of Duff

"Oof! What?!?!"

He kisses her hotly, like he's claiming her

She accept the kiss, if a little overwhelmed. "What??" She asks again, when she can.

He whispers, "It was either that or slap you. Do you realize how much face you just ignoring me in front of the others when I whistled for you? I told you this was a sexist social situation. They think I can't control you, which, yes, I can't, but they're not supposed to know that"

"Sorry. Sorry. Ok. You need to, hit me." She whispers back, dropping her eyes from his.

"Chica, are you out of your mind? I'm not going to hit you..." A snort.

"If you need to, do it." She repeats.

"But I will swing you around" ... and insult you. Sorry" He does just that, grabbing her arm Part of her wants to turn this into a fight. Make him prove... but instead she holds back as he speaks "You so stupid somedays, I know i don't date you for your brains but you get lost ? Pit...food...bathrooms" He gestures to various areas as if she were a moron.

The men around? some chuckle, some nod

She keeps her head down, allowing it.

Duff pulls her along, "Thank you for the...understanding, gentleman I'm going to take this prety one home and work out some aggression"

She follows along, even sliding up to mold her body against his if he allows.

And they slip out, she's almost thrown onto the bike. WIth the glamoour she's drank tonight, that might provoke different ideas than usual, but ... once they are on the bike and leaving, he says "We'll trade notes. The hold? my store? or your apartment?"

"The apartment." And part of her grip on him includes a very personal hand-hold.

A surprised look, but he guns it all the faster

She.... holds on.

And they get to her apartment, he slides the vehicle to the side..and they make their way upstairs to her room.

She leads the way.
