FRANK and Brekke soon have a ship bobbing up, full of lumber from deadwood of bergen and the lumberyard the Kings used and ..still use.

THere are, also, grand children on board, but no Piper. Just Siv and Jonas

Brekke had advanced notice that they'd be arriving, and she greets them at the shore, waving.

Siv was growling about something but perks as she sees her mom and waves , One of the kiddos on her back "Hey, we brought the lumber"

"Yes, and the children," she says with a bit of a grin, her eyes twinkling. "Welcome! Come up and see before we start unloading."

"BEMO!" Franki squeals in an ear-splitting tone.

"She remembers you" Siv says "Want to take her up?" An offer

A surprised blink, then a low rumble of amusement. "Hello, Franki." She's already reaching to pick up the child before Siv even offers.

Frank occupies himself making the ship fast.

Jonas has Valr on his back, the boy is getting big and makes a yell "LO?"

Ope, now both babes are echoing each other, seemingly to see who can be the loudest.

And of course, there's the long echoes of the wildlands answering them, which makes it all even more fun.

Jonas seems to have the patience of a saint "This lasts about five to ten minutes and then they each decide THEY won"

Though with the echoes, the kids have NEW comptiation

"Ah!" (ah) Franki is ENTHRALLED

Siv gives her father a hug since her mom took the baby "Hey you"

"Hello Siv." he hugs her back, carefully, then offers his hand to Jonas. "Jonas."

Jonas takes it "You look good, sir" grip solid but not trying to prove anything

"You also look well, all of you," Brekke notes. "No Piper, though?"

"PIper's up to something" Siv says with a slightly forced smile "But I'm going to trust that because.... why am I trusting this again, Jonas?" She asks her husband

Jonas answers "Because she sometimes needs time to be a satyress, and also, you have done the same"

"I HAVE done the same" Siv keeps that forced smile on her face to keep the sour look off it

"You have," Brekke confirms with the nod of a mother who has worried. "She is clever. She will be fine."

"Anyway, after she won a contest at Pennons, she made her way... " Siv says "And..." Forcing the fake smile off but holding back the sour still "She IS damned clever."

"DAMN!" Valr Harper chimes! The boy pleased with himself

Siv winces

"Which contest?" Then she shakes her head, amused. "Do not give him attention for that, and he will grow bored of it."

Frank looks to get their bags; small people take a lot of luggage.

"Yeah, well, no more cursing like a sailor for me" Siv says

Jonas helps Frank, but at Siv's comment about no more cursing, his brow is expressive 'Let's not make a liar out of you'

Brekke also gives Siv a skeptical look.

She offers to take a bag with her free hand, balancing Franki on her hip.

Siv ignores their looks and says "Piper won best Song inspired by another song... Jolene seduces Dolly and they both leave her cheating husband"

A surprised look at the revision, and she glances at Frank for his reaction to the concept.

Jonas adds, "She placed very well in traditional tunes also, and she and Linwood the satyr won best male female duet. " the shy centaur IS amazing on the keyboard

"Oh... uhm... did I tell you that I... uhm" Siv blushes "Ah not important"

"That you what, Siv." A firm tone. There will be no evading her.

"Well, I got second place in County Wide Fencing, it's.. the first time Rivervale got that far so while it's second place, I'm feeling a bit pleased."

Frank seems nonplussed at the musical mashup.

"Damn!" Valr says as if impressed

His sister continues to make "Ah!" Sounds to the echo

"Siv, that is impressive. I am proud. A new direction for Rivervale competitors. You will have to train others in the skill."

"Come, let us go up." She nods towards an uphill path.

"Well, I wonder if it will be cheating if I invite Sir Bachdion to visit" She follows up "Oh, speaking of training..." She relates Olgar's new training program

"Hm. I had not thought of training those at Goldfinch. It did not occur to me that they would be interested."

Jonas keeps helping Frank

"I think Olgar just figured that most of the goldfinch crew were decent kithain so them being better prepared helped the whole barony" Siv say "And, apparently he got the idea from you sparing with the spear with Basil the satyr"

A slight chuckle. "Well, I am glad I inspired. Ah, a question for you two...do you prefer to stay in our tent, in the Rig, or at the Baron's Lodge? All options can be arranged."

Frank carries as much as he can, and follows the ladies up to the site.

Siv looks to Jonas.
