"Alan, Alanso technically..." the Janitor says. His eyes a bit wide though he seems to be able to breathe again thanks to Coradel's statement

"AH.." Slowly it sinks into Temerity that perhaps she misread the request of her liege, "Well ah, ALan Alanso Technically. Thank you for helping us and for thy praise of my abilities. I need to... freshen up. Yes. Your pardon.. yoinks and away" And she has let go of his shirt and retreats to the ladies room

"I'll be right there in a minute," Coradel calls after her, then she says to the janitor, "Sorry, she gets nervous when she likes somebody." A quick wink, and she follows the pooka's retreat.

She ALMOST Misses the mouse trying to sneak out. If she didn't know what to look for, she would

"Oh, no no no, none of that. Prepare to speak with me," she says, closing her eyes to allow the pooka to change back.

then...

"My lady, I must banish myself from this place for ever..."

"For Dreaming's sake, why? It's going very nicely indeed!"

"A bit atypical, perhaps, but nicely!"

"My lady, I almost reinacted a scene from the Winged Mouse man movies"

"Yes, you'll want to dial it down just a bit, but you certainly made an impression! He won't forget you any time soon. And I think he knows you might like him."

"HOW?" A gasp "I speak like the village idiiot with a stutter. Where you and Leo are sleek and sensual, I move like a packaderm stomping through a forest at high speed! It is bad enough Dash no longer plays suit, but now this fellow must think I am William Shakepere character # 3 level mad!"

"You know...it's possible. But it's not certain. And here in fact is the test -- if he still seems interested after that, this has real potential. So, here's what you do." She fusses with the knight's hair a bit. "We go back out, you focus on me and Leo...but try to sneak a glance at him when you can. If you make eye contact, give a little grin and a shrug. If he grins back...all is not lost." She winks. "Ready?"

"Oh, and...call me Chloe while we're here."

"I don't believe i have Mechloe's number on my speed dial" A mutter as her hair is straightened, and says "Focus on you and Leo, but dont' drop my guard. Bare fangs at him... see if he snarls back. Got it"

Coradel takes a breath, hoping that's pooka-speak and not actual interpretation. "More or less. Let's see what happens next!" And she leads the way back from the restroom.

Alanso is back to work in other areas

"oh thank aslan" Modesty mutters

"I tried to hold him long as I could" Leonora says

"Thanks, Leo. It's okay. She's going to try the catch-a-glance-across-the-room thing."

"Here's your sunrise" Leo offers them up

The pooka takes hers "Lil Hiyam... a famous Jewish rapper"

Coradel takes hers and raises in toast. "To the pursuit." She winks to both of them.

Drinks are made, and Temerity chats with them , focuses on them then.. glances to the side...

Coradel and Leo chat about innocuous topics -- recent movies, upcoming Labor Day plans, etc.

Crainign, Temerity looks for ALanso once, twice, but she can't seem to 'glance' his way or find him. He's .. where is he? She twists.. and turns, and twists...

and falls off her chair!

Her drink hits the ground, and shatters!

A few folsk applaud

with that crowd sarcasm clap

"Oh!" Coradel goes to her. "Modesty, are you okay?"

Alan hears the glass crack, looks that way, and sees Modesty on the grouond with broken glass before her and spilled sunrise everywhere

Modesty blurts "I left the iron on" And races out the exit...

Leonora goes "Oh crap"

In her efforts to get out, the mouse pooka showed impressive foot work and the ability to shove folks to the side

Coradel sighs. "I think that's it for the night. I'll settle up the bill. Will you go after her? I'll meet you outside."

"Got it. I may need to use a butterfly net but I'll go after her" Leonora sets her drink down and heads off outside

Well, that's two broken glasses. Though the drink itself for the second one was paid for

The bill will be.. reasonable

Coradel gives Alan the grin and shrug on Temerity's behalf as she pays up.

Alan looks confused and.. yes, concernedk, and not for Coradel, he's staring out the door Modesty just shot out of

Coradel notices this. She considers options, but decides just to head out after the young woman.

The car they took, she finds Leo holding a mouse in the passenger seat "You're just staying in that form to avoid talking about it"

Squeek goes the mouse

Coradel gets into the driver's seat and closes the door with a victorious look. "Got him."
