"HA" Temerity throws the hand axe into the target again!

The tavern goers cheer.

Leonora looks at her liege "She's having a ball"

Coradel smiles. "She's also getting a lot of attention. I wonder if she realizes that."

"Mmm more admiring her muscles than her looks, but men are wonderfully diverse in what does it for them "

"Very, very true." She scans the room. "Then again, I'm not really expecting her to find true love on first axe. But if she becomes a regular, she's likely to form connections, and..." she makes an and-so-on gesture.

"Sometimes it's a hunt, some times it is sowing seeds" A nod

Oh she's no boggan, and it's too soon to say, but she can tell few men are turned on by her. Desire it seems will have to be seeded... but wait? There's a janitor who has stopped in mid work to watch her. Good sign, he could get in trouble pausing on his way to whatever clean up he was heading too, but he stops and admires.

It's possible he has noticed that despite a plain face, all that horse back riding has given Temerity a fantastic tail..err rear

But he doesn't focus too long like a leech, and he does grin when she makes that bullseye

She subtly points out to Leo a few of the men whose attention Temerity has caught, especially the janitor. "There's potential there."

"mmm he's no looker" She says, "That stasche is a bit much, but hten we're not hunting for my type. And he does have good arms. She might appreciate that."

Indeed, whle no troll, he's got some guns born of hard work, rather than lifting

"I think it's fair that we discount first surface impressions in this case. And yes, a pair of strong arms can go a long way as long at they're attached to an attentive suitor."

"Thy turn, My li... lady friend" Temerity turns to Coradel having retrieved an axe. "Ladies, hast thy forgotten why people go to drinking places? To slay their foes?"

Two other men talk about how good a shot she is, but seem no more interested than that

Coradel eagerly (and gracefully rises) and takes the axe. "I don't know if I can measure up to your score." She makes a point of brushing her hair back in such a way that her wedding ring should flash in the bar lights. She's off the market for you, onlookers.

She steps up to the line and aims...just off center...and throws.

Oh now she gets admiring looks anyway, but her strategy to be just a bit off? Works! She doesn't look incompetent, but neither does she beat Temeirty or steal the lime light there. That said, one man starts to rise perhaps to flirt but fortunately his buddy pulls him aside and mouths 'ring'

crestfallen that guy sits back down, but others cheer Coradel's efforts. After all, hot chicks get praise. She might get applauded if she slipped and hit the bartender.

Leonora sees what she's doing "Oh, nice try... " A wink

She doesn't even acknowledge the crowd. Coldness might turn them off. A shrug to Leonora as she brings back the retrieved axe. "Think you can do better?" she says with a wink back.

"Moi? I can try" She takes it...

Temerity is saying "Ah, Leo, the Bull shields his eyes when you are about." Fully expecting to lose but good natured about it.

Leonora however, aims, and thorws... and it's clear to Coradel she's aiming at just outside the bullseye

but it looks authentic!

Seeing no ring on her, one guy asks "Can I buy you a drink?"

Leonora smiles at the guy and turns it into a plural You "Sure, what are we having girls?"

The guy offering to buy winces a bit as he is now paying for THREE Drinks, but dutifully gets out his wallet

"Oh, I think it's time for Tequila Sunrises, don't you?"

She could have ordered something stronger or more expensive, but she's not sure how much of a drinker Temerity is, so starting off moderately.

"A sunr rises over our victory" The mouse pooka smiles

"That settles it, three sunrises, please," Leo rewards the man with a smile "And thanks"

Her smile destroys any reluctance he had to pay for two more drinks "Anytime"

Temerity moves to her liege's side, "This is a fine haven for heroes, my... college buddy. But I do not see how it solves my problem" She says

"Oh, were you hoping for a solution in one night? No, no. This is not a hunt...it is a trap line. Tonight we are mostly baiting. You might not get any nibbles just yet, but it lays the groundwork for later victory. Although..." She picks up a glass from an earlier drink. "...sometimes progress can be accelerated." She very deliberately drops the glass so that it shatters on the floor. A wide-eyed, innocent look. "Ooops! Clumsy me!"

Three men start to rise, but the janitor has the skills that pay the bills, and the tools, and it's his job "I got it, miss" He moves and begins to clean promptly. Coradel is used to having full attention, but while sidhe beauty means she does get an appreciative glance, he actually focuses on Temerity "Those were some great throws"

Temerty glances at the fellow "Ah, tis.. ah m I mean... yeah well, I enjoy hurling heavy objects at helpless targets"

Then she blushes, feeling an idiot

Coradel smiles. It's actually not a bad line! "Oh, Modesty. Living up to your name again." She shifts out of the way of the clean up in such a way that lets the janitor get closer to the pooka.

"Modesty," The janitor says "Lovely name but you have little to be modest about" He assures her "let me know if I can.. help with anything?"

"Else I mean" He says, a bit sheepish himself now

Coradel mouths from behind the janitor's back: Get his NAME

Temerity sees the motion, then nods and with resolve GRABS the Janitor by his shirt collar "Tell me your name or feel my wrath!"

Leonora facepalms

Coradel's eyes go wide, and she says, "Ah...ha ha ha! You're so silly, Modesty! If you want his name, just ask him!" Light and tipsy sounding.
