Not Frank's BEST shot, but it has such force behind it it shatters the jaw of whatever it is.... Oak bounds out of the bushes, he's apparently wounded HIS thallian enough that he 's good to help with a new target . Only one left, the Boggart! Which has wrapped a tarp around the hammer and is trying to carry it off, deserting his fellows

Oak wuffs at Frank as if to say 'Want me to get that one?'

Frank grunts painfully. Yes, yes he does.

Oak charges after the Boggart, which has a knife of it's own and while fumbling with the canvased Hammer, tries to fling it back at the dog...

Oak? Oak leaps over the throw, not something one expects a dog that $##$ing big to do, and then seizes the leg of the boggart, shaking him like a mongoose with a snake

Frank grits his teeth; is there another target, and/or can he get to the bagged hammer?

The hammer slides free from the canvas, and as it brushes against the boggart, it burns him wtih a golden glow... as Frank moves towards it (Since you asked if he could get to it) the Polish War hammer lands at Frank's feet and he can pick it up in a pretty smooth catch. HIM it does not burn.

And only the Boggart is left... Oak shaking the Thallians leg badly but there's fight in the bastard yet

Frank turns to the Boggart and advances with the hammer at the ready.

"Waaaait..." The Boggart howls realizing he's doomed 'Not the hammer! Call off your dog.."

Frank has very little patience for Thaillin but... "Talk." he pulls his blow at the last minute with a grimace.

"The hammer is extra deadly to my kind. We were trying to pervert it to serve the Fell with the blood of that priest" His eyes fall to the mortal hanging there between the trees, "you saved the day... now call off the dog?" Which has a grip about his leg still ready to bite down again but is NOT gnawing

Oak is holding on until told not to. This thing is a Thallian, and not protected by the Escheat, but then again the Code of Dagda tells trolls they should accept an honorable surrender

"Sorry to ask it of you, Oak, but hold onto him."

Oak does so without complaint.

Frank goes to check the other Thallian; dead?

Looks the..whatever it was definitely is.. bleed out in that jaw.. odd, it was trying to stich itself back together, literally, it has surgical thread... he looks over at the Ogre it's alive. Barely. The Beastie in the bushes? Frank feels the urge to kill it... rising. It's almost dead anyway and.. well, he knows what iti s. It's no pooka.

Frank gives it the coup de gras.

"What is that?" he indicates the would-be-tailor.

As soon as the beastie dies, he feels relief. There is something in those things that offense Seelies to their core

"that? That's a ghast.... " The Boggart says through clenched teeth as the dog's 'grip' is painful, "His name was Conrad Dean... they're redcap related if you can believe it, but different in so many ways. They eat glamour enriched organs, and often remove them surgically"

"Look" the boggart says "I've given you valuable intell. Surely that's bought me something right?"

Frank gives it a glare.

A flutter of wings and then...

Frank goes on guard with another snarl of discomfort from his wound.

"Easy frank" The raven transforms to become Kealan, Baron of Teaneck, head spy master, "I was flying by, saw your rig ... got curious." A look at the damage "And now that I'm here, I'm even more so"

"Baron." Frank growls, and bows.

"Could you do me a favor?"

"Easy, Sir Franklyn... you're too wounded to be bowing. And ask" He moves to the big man "I should get you to a healer..."

"I was going to ask you to remove the knife, yes." He says.

"Goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway. This is going to hurt." He prepares a cloth to staunch it, then.. pulls it out and then plugs it with the clean cloth

Then he bandages around that and in a mutter "Jesus, you trolls are thick... I mean torso wise. Frank, mind telling me what I missed and why a mortal man is tied between two trees?"

A grunt.

"Let's get him down, and covered. He needs sanctuary; Rivervale will give him such if you will allow it."

"And Baron, I make you a present if you wish it, of this Boggart."

Oak still has the Thallian by the leg.

"He was enchanted.. so hopefully he'll forget but he could still be a threat to the right of ignorance." The baron frowns 'But he's yours if you wish to take the risk"

"Prisoner? Hey I .. .I deserve better than.. OW... your dog dug in there again"

"Yeah? Good dog" The Baron nods to Oak

Frank, wound bound, goes to help the mortal. "Father.... Let me help you."

The man is praying, Frank can't quite make it out but the guy maybe trying to give himself last rites. Then he sees Frank close "You... Nephilim? Oh please don't be fallen"

The baron works with the boggart, but soon realizes a problem "Ah, you need to order your dog to let go. I've got him now"

"Oak, out."

"I am not a danger to you, Father. I want to help." Frank cuts him down and lays him gently on the ground. "Those that attacked you are dead or captured."

The Priest is almost frail in the troll's hands as he's laid down. HIs limbs were stretched out at an un natural angle and that wore them out. "Thank you, whoever you are. I don't wish death on anyone, but ...this world Im seeing... wonders and terrors like...why am I allowed to see it? There are men far more worthy of such.. such moments of clarity"

Oak has let go, and the Boggart finds himself knocked out

"Baron, can you help heal him at all?"

"Not my gift, but I have someone on the way who should be able to... my clean up crew. I... think your dog picked up your hammer" He says eyeing Oak wioth the handle of the hammer in his mouth. A gentle grip as he doesn't wnat to break fangs

"Hammer.. baron?" The priest looks about "An angel, or are you lucifer to be so handsome?" The priests ask "No, I don't suppose you'd be helping if you were"
