Brekke suggests a spot not too far from where she knows Lupe lives, a small strip mall, large enough to park the rig at. "We will be there in about ten minutes."

"Sure. I'll be there" Lupe nods

Frank nods, ready to put it into gear.

"Thank you." Brekke disconnects the call, and nods to Frank.

He puts the Rig in gear, and off they go!

Sure enough, when the pull up, Lupe awaits them. The latina remains short, but she shows more and more a worn look about her, as if she's seen far more than a teenage girl should- but she's ready to last till round 10 or die so bring it on life.

Brekke steps down from the rig. "Lupe, thank you. Have you heard of what has happened to Da....to Sam and her family?"

"Saw the news about her dad" Lupe grunts "But I get the feeling I'm way behind?"

Frank shuts down the Rig, at least to a warm simmer, and dismounts to wait in the background.

Brekke nods, and glances to Frank before turning back to Lupe and asking, "What do your people know of the Children of Lilith?"

Mr. King lurks in the background; he's a BIG guy.

"Children of Lilith?" A focus "Do they have another name?"

Brekke hesitates slightly before saying quietly, "Vampires."

"They're of the wyrm, tainted, and unnatural. We cull them without mercy as a rule" She says her eyes seeming more yellow "And it's the right thing to do. The taint grows in them the longer they exist, and they can exist for a long time. We consider them enemies. And they fear us. They damn well should"

A shift behind Lupe. Just Mr. King adjusting his weight, no worries.

Lupe stiffens slightly then looks back over her shoulder and relaxes

Brekke nods slowly. "They have been involved in some of the attacks on Sam's family and home. It seems there is another of their kind who is sending them."

"Give me the name, and my pack will hunt the Cadavear down" Lupe growls. Almost litterally. There's a sound in the back of her throat

A brow, but not one of skepticism. She seems more impressed than anything. "I do not have the name. Not yet. I may be able to get one. But right now, I need assistance. It is difficult for one of us to stay at the hospital long, by the side of Sam's father. And if a vampire arrives, it becomes more difficult still. But it would be easier for you, I think."

"You want me to watch Mr. James? Sure" A nod " Sam's my friend and he's always been cool to me"

"Thank you, Lupe. One of us is there now...Siv's partner, Jonas. But he should be relieved after a few hours. Before you take over, let your people know what is going on. And I will tell Jonas to expect you."

"Definitely, if you learn more, let me know and I'll pass it on. Even if Sam weren't one of my best friends, my pack owes her a debt"

Brekke nods. She doesn't point out that the pack owes her a debt directly for agreeing to let Sam join them on that quest.

"Prepare what you need to prepare. I will tell the hospital that you are on the visitor list for Jaymes King. Thank you, Lupe."

"You're welcome, Mr and Mrs king, you've done right by us. We won't forget" And she moves at a brisk pace to tell her pack that they need to move their asses

Frank is already dialing the hospital desk, and offers the phone to Brekke.

She watches the small girl go, then she accepts the phone from Frank and gives them the information about Lupe.

And she's on the guest list

That done, she hangs up and gives the phone back to Frank. "Let us return."

And they do! (End scene)
