Balloons! Dollar store ones, perhaps, but balloons!

"Number 1 Dad!"

"Dad is OUT of this WORLD" (shaped like a rocketship)

Bright blue regular balloons!

All of them are tethered to the paw of a little stuffed wolf.

Jaymes looks up from his bed and smiles. He'll be out soon, very soon, but this.. this makes him cheer up

As does the ladies coming in

The hospital is a chilly place, but Sylvi's doing fine on glamour...for now. "Hi!" she says with a smile, then a sympathetic wince as she sees the wires and tubes and such. "Yikes. How do you feel?"

Dagmar carries a BASKET of goodies.

"mmm" grunt ("Been better but fine")

his eyes light up to see his daughter

Sylvi grins...she knows that dad-sees-daughter look, and she gets out of the way, standing near Kelby and Nadeen.

Kelby waves a bit but mostly quietly.

"Tove sent snacks."

Sylvi also waves to the guard in the easy chair. "Hey, Lupe!"

"I don't know if you are allowed fried chicken, but there's plenty."

A grin for Lupe.

Lupe sniffs "Those just dad snacks or...??"

Nadeen tuts "Lupe"

"I think Jaymes might be convinced to share some with his security detail, Lupe. Right, Jaymes?" Sylvi smiles. She doesn't say that, no, he probably shouldn't have a lot of fried chicken, not just yet.

"There's a LOT of chicken." She observes.

"Help yourself" Jaymes smiles "I get out soon." he does eye a treat, and slips it in weakly, then mumbes "Hear to give me a healing? I'm about ready to go out"

"And then fire...." Fussing.

"I'd like to, yeah," Sylvi nods. She's hesitating, though...a glance at Lupe.

Lupe looks over then blinks "Oh.. right. I thik I need to go get some fresh air." She grabs some chicken "Right?"

Apologetic, "If you don't mind? Don't go far, okay? I totally miss seeing you!"

"I'm good" She bites "mm god, ggood chicken" And she walks off

"Good kid" Jaymes approves once Lupe is gone

"yeah..." Dag fidgets.

"Sam, c'mere" Jaymes holds out a hand

"Yeah?" She crosses over.

Quietly, Sylvi prepares a small plate for Jaymes: a drumstick, a biscuit with a little butter, small bit of mashed potatoes....

He puts his hand over Dagmar's "I'm fine. Going to be better. We got this"

She makes sure he has a cup of good cold water to go with it.

She clears her throat, and almost casually says to Nadeen and Kelby, "This food makes me think of picnics, y'know? Like...out on a lawn, nice big blanket, sunny day but not too hot, just enough shade...."

She bites on her lip and gives his hand a squeeze.

Jaymes shows a slight smile, reassuring for his daughter

Sylvi's tone invites them to join in on the thoughts.

Nadeen smiles "Guessing what shapes clouds are in?"

A smile, "Yeah, like that."

Kelby "A light breeze"

Sylvi looks to Dagmar. "Right? Picnic-y goodness?"

"The dogs like picnics."

"Brown Dog rolls in the grass and Two Bit guards against squirrels."

"Oh, right! Chasing frisbees and butterflies."

"Stealing potato salad..."

"Picnics are great, right, Jaymes?" Sylvi says, offering him the plate...and the glamour she's been summoning with their thoughts.

"A happy family" A nod

Dag's hand drifts to her mouth and she worries at her nails.
