"I need to talk to Marigold. I have an idea...and Sylvi is going to hate it"

He raises his bushy brows curiously. "Oho? Now are you going to leave a fellow in suspense?" Goodnaturedly.

"I think I'm about to take on a personal servant who happens to help Marigold... and leave it to Marigold to let the girl be frozen in that life until I bore of her... or gives her a chance to gain skills to climb a ladder in a mortal world"

His eyes twinkle. "Clever girl."

"Flattery may not get you too far, Dolph, but I do enjoy it" A smile

"You let me know if I can help. Or otherwise, get you on, we've got priming to do if we're going to look into that fine Trollish Varich paint combination."

"I leave you to your work, and yes...Trollish Varich paint combo is just perfect. " She says And glances to Willy "Thank you as well, Willy" And she turns and walks off

Dolph watches her go with a smile, then gets back to work. With Willy so engrossed in her own tasks, he even manages a smidge of boggan speed! Though, even kith gifts won't make paint dry faster.

While the stable is being taken care of by the experts, Nadeen seeks her housemate out

Sylvi is finishing up with the dishes while the second pot of coffee brews.

"Sylvi, I'm afraid you're going to be annoyed with me, and before you panick, no I didnn't get you a horse"

A brief moment of irritation flashing on her features before Nadeen adds that last part. Then suspicion. "What?"

"I'm getting a personal servant, a maid." She explains "She'll come in now and then and clean up. She may, at times be enchanted"

Sylvi looks dubious and, yes, annoyed. "C'mon, Nadeen, it's not that hard to learn to do the dishes."

"You know very well that I did my share of dishes at the lodge. In this case however, it's not entirely selfish" She says "The kinian I hope to accept the position will also be working at Silver wolf, under my protection, and I will be using her to help a dear lady. And.. yes, the kinain as well"

Sylvi smoothly hands her a dishtowel and a wet dish; apparently Nadeen can demonstrate her skill. "A kinain in that hold? That doesn't sound really safe at all, Nadeen. I mean...they're not monsters, but it's still not a safe place."

"And you know this.. how?" A curious lift of brrow "Were you attacked there that I didn't know?

She frowns at the sidhe. "You know what I mean. Who I mean."

"Calanthe" A nod "yes, she can be vicious but she also knows the rules. As offensive as the comparison will be, she won't mess with my servant for the same reason I won't hassle her hawks"

"Well..." She finishes with the washing and does the rest of the drying and putting away. "She better not. Who's the lady that needs help?"

"Marigold. You may remember her? Your mom and she have a kind of professional courtesy at the least, which is high praise to both I think" She smiles "Marigold is a lovely lady. And.. to my surprise, even Calanthe is fond of her." A pondering "She ..she's very stubborn. She needs a hip replacement and refuses to take one"

"Oh! Sure, I met her. A hip replacement, though? Yikes. That's..." She frowns. "I mean, hospitals. Ugh."

"She refuses to go. WILL not. I think she has a phobia. I was even trying to mention Symon's father..." A rough admission that, the father of a sluagh? "He's a skilled surgeon. If he doesn't do hip replacements he knows someone who does I'm sure. But no! She's working herself too hard for age. She needs help, and.. so.. well, Flo is onnly a year or so older than you or I and already has a son...I don't judge her. Satyrs happen. However, she's a single mother, a waitress who isn't really needed at this time at her place of work . Marigold might be able to teach her amazing cooking skills! and as a kinain not be seen as a threat to replacing her. I think.. I think Ican save them both"

Sylvi lets out a low whistle. "That's a lot of maneuvering. What if you get Flo to show up, and Marigold doesn't accept her? Or if Flo can't handle being in a hold that much?"

"I Hope to invite Marigold to a dinner where Flo works.. introduce them on netrual territory" She smirks a bit "Like letting an old cat know a new kitten"

"Well...that might be a good start." She sighs and frowns. "I wonder how much I could help Marigold with a burst of Spring? I mean...if I aimed it at the mortal part of her...?"

"If you would be willing to try but heather balm hasn't really helped that I saw. Maybe spring would" Pondering

"It's kind of tricky. Or maybe it isn't, but I've just never used it to heal a mortal health issue in a fae."

"Well, if you can do it you'll be a hero twice over" She says "Wan me to ask first or just invite you over without giving her warning?"

"Probably better for me to be there before she knows why. She might decline the offer if she knows it's coming...but if I offer face-to-face, she might feel obliged to try."

"I think you're right, watch out for Briar. She's been practicing Jump scares with her hockey mask.. mostly on Gwen but still"

"Oh, great. Thanks for the heads-up."

"oddly charismatic monster " She says "And you're welcome. "

"I haven't seen a lot of her, but I get the sense she spends a lot of time bouncing from unholy-terror to butt-hurt-kid."

"Actually that's a good summary. Gwen adores her for reasons I can't quite understand. Briar IS good with hte dogs though and has a fierce kind of loyalty too not that she'd admit it. Calanthe? Well you know abou the dangers of Calanthe, at least the dangers to you . She might go Mean Girl on you but if she does, remember she's also chancellior so that gives her some protection."

A brief scowl. "Mean girl, titled sidhe, in her own home...yeah, a whole hell of a lot of protection." A glance at Nadeen. "If anybody there tries to dictum me or something like that, I will not be happy."

"I gathered, but at the same time you'll understand I refuse to promise never to use it against a girl who is like towering OVER Me and could club me to paste if she wanted to. Obviously that's the same reason I'm not likely to. " A thought "Oh, I ..may have weaver warded my room"

A blink. "What, you think I'm going to swipe your clothes?" An absurd notion, given the size difference.

"Nope. I think there might be spies that eventually nose around, this land does have sluagh for hire, after all. And you DID eye that scarf"

"Well...the scarf, maybe."

A sigh and a shake of the head. "I'd say you're paranoid, but you might not be."

"I'd rather be over prepared than under"

"So...okay, but you figured to ward your room and not mine?" A smirk.

"Acttually I warded yours too. Don't worry... just say the pass word 'Nadeen queen of the galaxy' and it will let you in" Her expression is quite serious, but then the varich is good at serious expressions

Sylvi gives her a very pointed look...and trolls are pretty good at serious expressions, too.

"OBviously I'm joking. It's on my door and windows."

"Okay, I guess. It's just kinda weird. But...I get it."

"Would you like some put on yours?"
