"Well..." And he starts in, flipping through pages.

"You already met Miz Flo who works over at Church Street Diner. The couple who runs it really keeps her there as a bit of a charity. They don't rightly have need of a waitress with all the orders being takeout. I bet she might be hurtin' without proper tips coming in. I asked around, and none of the other coffee shops or restaurants in town are hiring either.

Over at Chatterbox is a redcap by the name of Al - owner, in fact. Odd duck, that one. There are some rumors that the place was just a cover for some other nasty operation, but is or ain't, I couldn't find any truth of it. What IS true is he churns out a mean skillet. Front or not, he knows how to cook.

Word on the street is that things are tough at the salon, Hair and There? Well, I should say salon coffee shop. Or these days, salon, coffee shop, nails and massage. The satyr proprietor is a go-getter, and as business gets harder, they're branching out. Turns out that if a customer is going out these days, the more they can get done at one locale, the better. And Sidney is tenacious.

Ye met already the team behind A to Z home services, at Carnival, iffin you recall - Adler and Zelda. They'll do ya for small appliance repairs and landscaping needs, if you're looking for fae help. Adler has a cousin that does interior design work, remodeling and the like. She's currently involved with the local habitats fer humanity, though they've been furloughed for the duration.

Most of the fae around town already have their careers set, y'see. Carthage is tiny, Lady. It's not like a big metropolis where you can pal around and stumble on a new job, least ways not during a Pandemic. We don't get a lot of seekers up here, more folk who have a sure thing.

Outside of the city proper we got a few artists, a teacher or two, other folk who keep to themselves and their dreamers, and seldom show up for court. Not that we hold court, that is. Maybe they would if we did?"
