"So some of these are trained as war horses? How do you keep them from attacking just... randomly?"

D'Lorean says "Because we know them. They're FAE steeds, smarter than regular horses. And they know who their enemies are. They will defend themselves, but any crature will "

At least two of the horses are troll sized, Fresians, D'Lorean would know.

"I only know, like, the very basics about horses." apologetically.

"I kind of figured.." A smirk "YOu were fronting"

"Hey, it was a real question."

"You boasted how much you know about horses"

"I said I'd learned a little about them."

"And that we have good horses at EarthRunes."

"Mmph" A smile "I'll have to visit"

"That'd be cool. It's a Fiona hold. Lots of satyrs. One of my mentors is a satyr."

"So you are saying you're learning from the best?" Faux loftily

"Some of the best, anyway!" cheerfully.

"Smooth" She says

"Like I said, learned from some of the best."

"You like being a Thane? You do patrols and stuff, right?"

"I'm a knight, not a thane" She says "Different"

"Oh. Oh jeeze, I'm sorry, Dame." He offers a bow. "I didn't mean to, uh, miss-rank you or insult you or anything."

"No no..It's okay I just.. youdon't have to bow when we're out here just us... but itis a different thing. Knights get to be the heroes they ..we.. get to be the good guys and the role models. Everyone loves knights "

"Oh, I understand." a wistful sigh.

"Oh. I bet you do" She says "You're going to be a sidhe one day right? As soon as they figure how to get it out?"

A pause. "That's what they say. Three steps that no one knows what they are."

"Geez. I'm sorry. Maybe you'll get to be a knight though. Some Kinain have been knighted"

"I've read about them, what I could find. Just.... you know, you gotta keep trying."

To give him credit, he does listen.
