Okay. The room that looks out in the deck looks kind of like this

the upstairs room has plenty of light and is ready to be put to his preference

The other one on the first floor doesn't have a deck, but it has a fireplace

After a full tour he tumbles back down the stairs. "This is SO COOL, GrandDame!"

"Which of the three d oyou like? We can change the furniture around"

"I think.... I think I'd like the one that leads out to the deck? If I can. I mean, if I'm allowed."

"Why not. I figured either that our upstairs. Sense of privacy "

"Thanks!" He hugs her.

She hugs back "thank your mom too. She gave you first dibs"

"I mean.... any of them would be good. If she wants that one, she can have it."

"Nope. The Deck bedroom is yours. Your mom will take one of the other ones. She likes them all."

"Ok. If she changes her mind, that's cool too."

"Adam...your mom doesn't care which room . She wants you happy"

"Hmmph. If you say so. Nevermind, the one with the deck is good. When do we move in?"

"You see what I have to up with?" A sigh from the kitchen. his mom 'if you say so'"

"Yes, dear, I know," Bondraste says "it's not his best side. " Then she looks to Adam "Now actually"

Adam tenses.

"Now? So go pack, or.....?"

"Now? Now we go over what you want in your room" The grand old sidhe smiles

"Well.... the regular stuff? Bed, dresser, nightstand?"

"Oh Adam I adore you, but I feear we've neglected your education in elements of style and I dont' mean grammar." She says "Here... ah, Brenda can I use that tablet? I want to show Adam styles."

"He doesnt strike me as the victorian type" His mom says. Something is cooking "But sure, Darcy"

Darcy? But Adam turns back to Bondraste. "Really just.... like, furniture is fine."

Outside of the hold she looks more like a silver haired lady

"Here we go" She gets the tablet and flickers through "I know, Adam, but no reason even mundane living has to be just any old thing. " And she starts to show him styles of furniture. Oh goodness... she expect him to give opinions

"Is there a bigger bed like that one?" He points.

"Yes, but it might take up your space" She shows him "Something suitable for a lady and you together?"

"Well it is a BEDroom..." he points out. "And yeah. I mean, at least for two." He grins.

"At least..goodness, he's ambitious" Darcy calls out "isn't he ambitious, Brenda?"

"I think he wants me out of this conversation" Brenda says

"Just planning ahead."

The smell of Ribs fills the air, and baked potatoes

"Okay, so at least a queen sized" Bondraste nods "And you like this style more eh?" She nods "Good. Glad to know your preferences."

"And I guess whatever other stuff matches it?"

"What are you favorite colors? And you don't have to say red just because of Fiona biases" A smile

"Well... I -do- like red and silver, yes. And, uh, purple I guess?"

"Well mmm" She shows some lay outs

Brenda calls out "And his favorite sports teams are" And she tells them

"Were." He corrects quietly.

"I like that one, I guess?" he points.

"Oh." His mom says peeking out "Which one is your favorite now?'

"Mmm yes that seems to suit you" Darcy agrees

"Not into basketball anymore."

"Even as a spectator?" Brenda says "I.. oh. I'm sorry, Adam. " A beat "Dinner will be ready in 15"

"Thank you so much, Brenda" Bondraste says

"I have other things that are more important, and anyway, they aren't doing games with spectators so....."

"But what about television?"Bondraste asks "We aren't going to watch games together on tv? I'm not big on the sports ball but I thought we could enjoy that together"
