Grand Dame Bondraste goes looking for Adam

Being a weekend, he's working in the kennels and not hard to find at all.

"Ah, Adam, there you are. " She says "how are the dogs?"

"The dogs are fine" Sir Sergei says "Pardon, I am excited by good news"

"GrandDame!" He smiles. "Good news, Sir?" turning to Sergei.

"Yes, an invitation for me... and, a possible opportunity for some truly special fae hounds" He says "But I see the Granddame is being courteous"

"Yes, afraid so.. I did come for Adam" She says with a chuckle "He spends too much time in holds so to be safe, we've got a mortal domicile"

"Sorry, GrandDame. Were you looking for me?"

"Yes dear, but if you're still busy?"

"You're free to go if you like, Adam," Sir Sergei offers

"Thank you, Sir. Ready, GrandDame!" He joins her.

She takes him out of the hold and to a nice car "I'm told you like driving?" It's more of a luxury style

"Sure! Anywhere in particular?"

"Yes" She gives the address

And hands over the keys to him, waiting for him to open the passenger door

"Ok!" He gets the door for her, and hops in himself.

They drive to a house that looks a little like this

"Be it ever so humble" She says

Adam parks in front, and peers. "Wait, so this is where you live? I mean, when you're not at the manor?"

"You and I will be sharing it" She says

"W...we what??"

"Adam, I thought we explained about Bedlam? the dangers of it? Wer're going to make sure you get some mundane living in. The school is supposed to be off hold grounds but that's still mostly kithian and kinian about there.. Don't worry, it's good for me and your mother too"

"Yeah, but.... wait, is she going to be staying here too?"

"You told me you trusted me" She raises a brow

"I do."

"Yes she is. Not often, but she needs a break now and then. Now there are four bedrooms in this house. They are not picked out yet."

Adam does not love this plan but he nods. "Well, you have one, right?"

"Well... as a matter of fact your mother insisted I take the master bedroom. But all the rooms are rather nice"

"if you prefer the master bedroom?" She offers

"No! No, that should be yours."

"Too kind. So go inside and pick a room"

Adam bolts out but stops and gets her door. "Come with me?"

"Of course" She says

Adam walks with her up the walk to the door; she has the keys, of course.

And the door opens.

Adam walks in, curious, and looks around.

Nothing too fancy. Walls seem to be in wood paneling and blue depending on which wall mostly. There are stairs. The main hall has a coat rack.

"It's nice. Kind of.... low key, but nice." He prowls around the ground floor.

Kitchen, laundry...not too big a living room but there is one. Deck out back.

And yes, there's the master bedroom

"Cool deck!"

"Oh one of the bedrooms leads out to it" Grand Dame bondraste says

"That's your room, right?"

"Nope." She says "Master is the big one with the en suite."

"Can we go look at the rooms?"

"Yes, that's part of picking them you don't need me for that do you?" She laughs softly

"No, just thought .... but I guess you've seen them, huh?" And he darts off to look around.

"I have " She smiles and watches him bound around

He pokes his head into all the rooms.
