VInce lunges for the sluagh but the green troll is in the way

and he paws him..and knocks him OUT of the flicker flash effect. Well, that's one!

"Avast!" He cries in a Captain Siv impression.

Coradel tries to grab Stripe as the Shadow Court starts to fade. She's pretty sure they're not going to take these failures with them, but she wants to make sure she gets this one.

It seems the others don't have as much luck... the flicker flash taking the others but Coradel drops her sword and GRABS stripe...

and yanks him out of the magic

"HA!" Coradel cries out as she grabs Stripe by the collar and drags him back.

And Stripe gets kicked, thwacked, and punched

Vince wraps his arms around the Troll/Ogre in a parody of an Embrace and tangles his limbs - he might not be able to restrain him, but he can at least make things DIFFICULT

"Get off me..." Thump says! Starting to break free..slowly

And Vince soon finds August's sword at the ogre's throat.

"My kiss is nothing compared to my Liam's." He purrs into Thump's ear.

"His is steel, you see."

"I..surrender" Thump says. Proving he is is NOT dumb

"Bind him." August orders.

Coradel looks to see if the body was left behind.

It was. Perhaps the banality of the recent death made it hard to snag

And Thump is bound!

"Wrong cuffs" Leo puts away the fuzzy ones

August gets a text beep

She frowns. "We need to take that one, as well."

"Got him" oswald says

"Right cuffs..." He argues back... and lifts the fuzzy cuffs to bind the redcap, hands behind his back where he can't bite at them. "He might wake up... and it's cute."

August checks his phone.

TXT: Get the blood from the arrows. Sluagh and Sidhe lady. Pro tip

A sigh. "Coradel, Magnus wants the blood from the arrows."

"They are chimerical. They may have faded already, but blood spatter is surely there." She searches and gathers up blood trace on her sleeve if she can find any.

And they have a LOT of eyes to search so yes.. yes they do

"I have a handkerchief......" he offers.

Coradel accepts August's handkerchief for the purpose. Then she looks to the ogre. "What oath do you give as assurance that you will not try to break your bonds?"

"None." He says "the turning of the wheel is due. All this time to the Seelie? it is time for a new century of Unseelie rule...balance demands it"

She frowns. "Then hear me: I know you may have the power to break free. Know that if you try it, you will be punished...and if you are not present, I will find the ones you love and punish them in your stead. Their safety depends on your behavior. Understood?"

"There is seelie and unseelie, and there is right and wrong. I fear that your teachers were lapse in the difference." He comments, his voice lamentable.

She looks pale and glorious as she delivers this warning.

"I see what you're willing to stoop to, yes, understood" Thump says

August's expression is smoothly blank.

She snorts. "I'll not be judged by the likes of you, after what you tried to do this evening."

And at this she flares and the troll tries to find his courage "There will be other Samhains... with the anthemae of Seasons they can stop you! Not this samhain, that's done, but the next and..." He stops realizing he's said too much

"Done, and not even pumpkins yet carved?" A brow rises.

Coradel grins grimly. "Ohhh, I believe we will have further discussion of this matter. Come!" she calls out to all. "Our hunt is ended! Let us return home with our quarry!"

August sheaths his blade and starts directing redeployment; a search inside and out, clean up, transportation for the prisoners, return for all.....

"And Shave Vince's ass for the whole strip club thing" Rollo reminds

A wince, he had hoped this forgotten in his moment of minor glory. "Trade you an ogre for the privilege?" He offers.

"Hush, Rollo. You now know a new club to go to. You may thank him later."

"I can introduce you to Striper, it IS the season for candy after all..."

Coradel laughs, high on the adrenaline of at least a partial victory, and leaves the church to mount up and lead the hunting party home!

"mm okay fine. Wingman duties will pay me back"

and off they go.. Victorious! August realizes his wife is going to attack him later.. that energy will go elsewhere

Oh, Coradel might suggest that Vince and Leonora should be part of those particular celebrations, as well!
