August makes a few stops on his way to find Coradel; he finds out where Adam is resting and observes them for just a moment. He makes sure Tylar has Velvet to help him get refreshed. He determines where Minerva is, and that she is well. And he is looking for Coradel during this.

He doesn't have to look for long. Coradel left word to be notified when he returned, and so she quickly joins him. A lingering kiss may distract him for several seconds....

Ah, yes, it does.

In fact, he lingers right back at her.

When she finally lets him breathe, she swats him. "The nerve, going off and being heroic without me!"

"Ah! What? I didn't .... Coradel, the conflict was over. I was cleaning up."

She folds her arms. "Hmph! Well...fine, who does get the blame for being heroic without inviting me to the fun?"

"Unsained wilders, and Tylar." gently.

"And a chimera."

A blink. "Which unsained wilders?"

"Adam and Minerva."

"I might be stretching the description with Adam but....."

She blinks again. "Well...I'd considered forcing them into a shared quest to figure out how to work together, and they went and did it on their own."

"It was a mission of vital importance but I'm not sure it was a quest. Still." He tells her about Alanza's late night, Adam's concern, Tylar's pinpointing her location and Minerva's transportation to the book store, a subsequent melee, and Tylar's text for clean-up.

"I suppose the chimera in question is Adam's little demon?"

August nods. "They're asleep by the Balefire as ordered by Healer Emma."

Her frown increases as he speaks of what was found at the bookstore. "Here? In my borders?!" her voice beginning to rise in outrage.

"Yes." calmly in the face of her outrage "The actors in this matter, according to Magnus, are not the source of the crime. They were initiates; the leaders here are still in shadows. Literally."

"It may be that Adam had encountered one of them previously. The satyr."

"Indeed? Then...I believe we will need to locate that satyr and ask him some very pointed questions."

August nods. "I agree. The troll Tylar described might have been Thallain but definitely Unseelie.

She nods. "And you say Tylar has drawn blood in battle, now."

"They all have, but he has killed."

August nods. "I know what you are thinking. Yes. He has."

A slight grin. "Do you, indeed?"

"Yes. I've spoken with him, but we left matters open. I will readdress with him."

A thoughtful look. "You know.... perhaps this incident is a doorway for him. If he could resolve the matter and bring the criminals to justice, that would certainly be worthy of elevation."

She nods. "He is your squire. I think he may have already earned that honor, but I trust your judgment on this."

An irritated huff. "Then there is Adam. I would have thought that an encounter with danger, glamour, and a daring rescue might have forced his awakening, but...I have felt no dream dance."

August nods agreement. "He does not appear to have had one; he is asleep, as I said. He was wounded."

"Yes. I merely mean...well, if that didn't do it, what will?"

She sounds almost annoyed at Adam being inconveniently mortal, still.

"We don't know." Simply. "Da'an, I suppose?"

"Let us sit?"

"Of course." She takes his arm and lets him lead her somewhere to sit and speak.

A little nook with comfortable seating.

"I do not know why he has not Crysalized."

"No, I gather that. And it really is not the important issue right now. Dark workings are happening in my lands."

August nods. "I am far more concerned about that. And... it is not an auspicious season for it."

"Well, one might say it's entirely too auspicious for it. I want to find that satyr. I have notions about how to make sure he decides it was a most inauspicious thing for him to attempt, personally."

August nods. "Well. If Adam did in fact know him previous to this, he would be one source to ask. And Alanza was with him before tonight, and tonight. I believe she is still under the care of Healer Emma in her hut. Adam is at the Balefire."

She frowns. "The are healing. I will not interrupt that process."

"Then... I suppose we could increase patrols, issue a watch for the satyr. He seems to be physically distinct, with a stripe."

"A stripe? In his hair?"

Footsteps, not too heavy

Coradel looks to see who approaches.

As does August.

It's Alanza, she has bedhead, but is dressed and seems clear eyed

August rises, bows.

Coradel also stands and reaches out to the eshu. "You should be resting," she scolds as she guides her a seat to join them.
