Zara has been frustrated, the search leads to the Baron knowing the secret of the Tithe, but evidence has been slow coming.

Omens only reveal so much, tattle tales blocked.

Of course the Eiluned does.

Tattle tale - but there's old fashioned observation.

And so she must slip into the hold. It is not easy, the birds spies are a way in, but they maybe ready for her now

Where as the main path ..well that invites speculation

There is a ward - but she can veil herself against it. Ironic, that.

It takes a long slow bunk, preparation... and ..yes..the rest? Stealth.

And who does it better?

Someone, probably. But Zara's not bad.

And yet, as she moves through, slipping behind a tapestry, it is not her fault, but a faulty hanging hook that chooses to come loose far too easily.

And the troll walking down the hall turns, "What was that?"

Her cover is falling to the ground, she's about to be revealed.

Inside the wards, she should be able to veil...

And s he does, hastily and.. oh thank goodness.. it maybe working

Yes! he moves to the tapestry as she practically presses against the wall.. his focus on it not her...

She scoots along the wall, seeking the next spot of cover...

and he grabs the tapestry "I told them this thing was too heavy, the material is not light weight cotton for crying outloud. But does anyone listen to the guy who took textile classes? Noo..." The guard grumbles

Zara finds a door to slip in, open a crack, no sound. It's an empty room, she pours in.

She scribbles notes.

It's..incomplete, like half of it is gone.

Perhaps, but it is a start.

Voices, female "The Baron dislikes my house, doesn't he?"

Notes to take home, to tear apart and analyze... hm. And perhaps a room to know - she can't scry the Baron, but she might be able to scry the space...

She perks and listens.

"Eiluned and Gwydion do not often get along, but the Baron is not going to alienate anyone, Lady."

She glides closer, sneaking a look from behind her veil.

A boggan, omnipresent, ubiquitous... this one a wilder lady but in serving garb. The Gwydion is radiant, of course. Unusual for a Gwydion, she has the look of a pacific islander, the fae magic lighting her skin with hues of copper that shimmer, her dark hair seems to contain twilight purple tinges along the edge.

Zara kenns them both, from habit.

Court is hard to place, but she can tell the Gwydion has a treasure about her neck along with what looks to be a piece tied club with shark teeth at her belt. The Boggan has no glamour but her own.

"Please, he alienates everyone. The people grief for the loss of their companions and friends. And he with draws. It does him no service. Yes, I am aware he might be doing a great deal and all 'in secret' but people need to KNOW their liege cares."

The boggan frowns "So you said...to the baron's face no less, Lady."

A silent smirk.

Gwydion can be as blunt as Dougal, in their way...

"He asked my opinions.... how could I refuse in his own hold?" She flutters her lashes.

So it seems, at least, everyone knows of the Tithe...

At least they know that Chimera are missing.

The Gwydion knows something or the other. And does not smell of Naming...

No she does not smell of naming. Most curious. But they are walking by now.

sneak sneak listen...

Following, she hears more.

"Dame Kamakana, that's an usual name" The boggan makes chat "it's ..not very welsh"

"I'm sure it means something in Welsh, almost everything does" Kamakana smiles

"But if you forgive me, the subject was the vanishing chimera. I have looked. Dreamers are being cheated of t hose dear to them.. some nightmare stalkers which is one thing, but companions? It is tantamount to ravaging the children what is going on" The Gwydion insists

The boggan hmmphs "Well I don't htink anyone one else sees it that way"

Zara narrows her eyes. Yes. Kamakana.

"Then they don't have the facts" The Gwydion says "I do. And if the Baron cares nothing for the matter... then he won't mind me pursuing my theories. "
