Research shows many are missing chimerical animals and friends. Sometimes it's wild chimera missing , ones no one misses, but enough have lost imaginary friends and chimerical companions that it is noted.

And Zara tallies this - names, numbers, descriptions, dates... while in some ways, she is atypical for her kith, in this she is every inch the patient and methodical investigator. Secrets take work.

Ginger wipes her eyes " I really miss Rowling. He was this little sentient pot you could grow anything in... I made some amazing tea leaves with his help...."

Tea and sympathy can be found in her parlour... well, living room. It isn't a proper parlour.

Ginger doesn't mind. She knows her teas but often gets too modern in flavors and.. . sadly, some customs, but she is a goodly satyr "You think you can find him?"

"I cannot promise. I will see what I can find."

"I understand. Thanks. Gabby's right, you're good furking people"

She pinks a bit. "Well... no need to spread that around."

Ginger who has been crying, actually laughs a bit at that. Ah, a true redhead, she went splotchy fast. "I hadn't realized it would be a source of embarrassment. "

"My dear, I am a sluagh. We have a reputation to consider." But she smiles as she sips her tea.

"Would it help if I honestly admitted to folks that painting over there with the eyes that seem to follow me freaked me the hell out? WOn't even have to lie" She gestures to the painting of the river goddess in low reeds ready to drown someone.

That might indeed pacify, and the two share tea before the satyr departs and Zara gets back on the hunt.
