Coradel gets down to the stables in short order, although there are a few interruptions on the way. Such is the life of a baroness. But once she's there, she gives each of the mounts a very thorough once over, checking not only for the regular issues but also their mood and, in the case of fae steeds, their glamour.

Oswald is there with her, tending and asks "Baroness. What about the mortals?"

Her focus is primarily on the horses, but she responds, "I've got some ideas. Do you have a suggestion to offer, Thane?"

"Not sure, one of the childen was said to ken oddly so I think investigating is wise," He admits.

"Well, agreed then." An irritated huff. "I don't think the urge to help them was wrong, but risking right of ignorance AND involving the horses in the process without permission was inexcusable."

"I know," He says "I didn't want to 'narc ' or wahtever the term is these days , but the Escheat. She should know better" A frown

She gives Samson some indulgent attention. "She should, indeed."

"I should send a representative to meet with the adults in charge of the camp, perhaps set up therapy rides in a more formal manner."

Samson has been well tended and happy for yet more love.

"Save the situation by leaning into it?" The THane smiles "I like it. And charitible works are not unlike you."

"Well, as I said, it's not a terrible idea, and a need I wasn't aware of."

Still giving Samson protective and possessive attention.

"Sounds like the mortals mostly use it as a way to make money. But they could be reasoned with."

"Or replaced."

"OH" He realizes "Even better"

(Pause)
