August might be feeling that this return home is a bit anti-climactic, as it seems that his beloved is nowhere that he's looking. He's just starting to redirect towards the balefire and Bachdion when a light set of footfalls comes hurrying down a corridor towards him. Almost before he can turn, Coradel is there, and she claims his embrace and his lips with her own.

His arms wrap around her and her kiss is returned with warmth and welcome.

When finally they part, she moves back enough to look him over -- is he wounded? low on glamour? unkempt?

No; he seems as fine and well-balanced as ever.

He seems to be taking stock of her condition as well.

She seems strong and vibrant -- quite as to be expected after she's engaged in a successful endeavor, achieving her goals and making new social connections! When she assures herself that he's fine, she hugs him close again, murmuring in his ear, "I feel like it's been months."

Indeed, August shows many of the same indicators; he seems at peace, flush with inner strength. "I have missed you." he murmurs back, not letting go.

Her reply is another kiss, this one more lingering. Finally, she pulls away just enough to kiss his cheek and then murmur in his ear, "Shall I show you how much I missed you?" He can feel her smile against his jawline.

"As you wish." he whispers, lips close to her own ear.

She pulls away and takes his hand, tugging him along towards their room with a mischievous smile.

August, slightly pink, but without objection, follows along.

Once they are safely ensconced in their quarters, the Baron and Baroness are not seen for...quite a while.
