"Could be Dougal or Nocker make..."

Then he shakes his head. "I had a.... an impression, at the music. A warning rattle, not a violin or other stringed instrument, odd. Like... a rattle snake?" He looks to Zara.

If August reacted to it that way and she didn't, it's possible... is it a Liam thing?

"Snake? Balor?"

"It does leap to mind and connect." thoughtfully.

The Eshu ponders "A Balor lord? Mmm as they, like the original shadow court houses sometimes pretend to be of OTHER houses, that does not make our search easier." Rüzgarla mmms

"Balor cannot, do not hide their marks."

Her jaw is tense, shoulders pinched.

"But some do cover them and act as Dougal" She says

"Just like some Leanhaun pretend to be Fiona or the like, or Ailil pretend to be Eiluned. Not so much as they used to though"

"Is there a place in Northern Ice with more Dougal?"

The Eshu is far travelled, "Well, actually, Duke Stephen Brunswick ap Dougal rules the The Duchy of White Trillium I don't know how common OTHER Dougal are there though"

"There's a Dougal Duke? It couldn't hurt to start there, I suppose..."

"August, we need a ruse to visit Canada."

He blinks. "Ah. Canada...." nonplussed.

"Actually, it is O Canada" The Eshu says with a straight face

"I'm not sure... could it not just be a vacation?"

"Mayhaps... but if it is a noble hold, and thou art a baron, they would ask questions and likely wish formality?"

"A diplomatic endeavour? Possible"

"Perhaps... seeking a commission?"

Rüzgarla ponders "I don't recall what the Duke's specialty is"

"Worth investigating, aye?"

"There is a story worth uncovering here" She agrees

"Okay, first things - recon on the Duke, to set up a visit to further investigate."

"Other Eshu, of course, might be very interested in this story, as the carriages are widespread..."

"Ahh...." hesitant "A Duke."

"Well, Baron, you would be amazingly out ranked, but ... you lead a banner house do you not?"

"What city is the ducal hold in? Mayhaps if we simply wished to visit there... if, mayhaps, there was a library? A Liam scholar, a sluagh librarian, an eshu tale-teller.... why, not remarkable at all."

"I do. I'm surprised you know that, though." He nods to Zara. "That idea has merit."

"Your Bannerhouse symbol was on the walls near the entrance" She says. No doubt Innish, Hold HErald, insists on it

"And.. I tihnk the Duke has two locations. his official one in Toronto, the other more private one in Niagra falls"

"Toronto must have a library. City that big might have some mews or smaller noble holds, too."

"I'm sure he -has- a library; it's de rigueur. Ontario does seem more likely. Unless he's a literate man?"

"This I don't know" Rüzgarla shrugs

"Well, start with the larger city. Make what introductions are needed."

"I... pray, August. If we are dealing with Balor..." She bites on her lower lip.

"It would not be meet for me to be Zara Schwartz, aye? Esther DeBuke, mayhaps. For those names would not be a lie."

August looks very grave. "True. For that matter, I'm not sure about myself. Would my presence be a hinderance?"

"It might be an excellent Decoy for her actually" Rüzgarla ponders "Take any extra eyes off her."

A small smile. "No one sees Miss Zara unless she wishes them to."

Rüzgarla looks impressed at that

"I... forgive, I assumed that you wished to be involved. An adventure like old times."
