"Nay, there is no lesson intended here." Oh, it is summer indeed. Sluagh tend to have particular ideas about "instruction" even after Samhain ushers in long nights and chilly air.

"It's downright monstrous" The Steward IS still a boggan, "The idea of SCARING children during their dream dance. No contact, just yank away? You talk to them, you guide them through it. You don't abduct"

"And.... it should be acknowledged that their mother is... ah, there are those here who feel protective of her."

She nods.

"They are good men."

"Well, now I feel bad for tasering her" Rüzgarla confesses

"MAGNUS!" Claire yells down the hall at THAT confession "Move it... she was tasered."

"Oh dear," The steward sighs. She is too polite to comment on the recklessness of Eshu

"Twas a rather complicated situation, ere it resolved."

Rüzgarla says "Thank you for understanding." She IS wise enough to take a step away from the Liam. Lest he grow ired that a mortal was filled with electricity

"We are glad that the road led you there." Firmly.

August's normally placid expression does darken, and he takes a deep breath.

"If their mother needs medical care, we'll see to it," The steward assures August "I have healers magical and mundane medical contacts."

She grazes her fingertips against AUgust's wrist, reassuring.

"Thank you, Steward Delores." he murmurs, then glances at Zara and nods, relaxing slightly.

Rüzgarla does feel the urge to tremble a bit at a sidhe lord's brewing ire, but fights it, rather she placates "In truth, I had not known the woman was approved of for keeping childlings. In many areas holds simply take them so they don't fade from banality and never learn who they are. Had I known she had such prior interactions and over sight well I would have done things differently. I had started with a memory altering spell to be easier... but it ... unraveled on me." Not going into detail

"To be fair, your intentions were not initially known, either. But - resolved, aye? Perhaps we all deserve some tea."

"Tea would be lovely when there's time" She says

She tilts her head. "Poppy hath shown them the obstacle course in the gardens. There is much screeching, I believe it to be a generally positive, if... ah... high-pitched sound."

"...And Healer Emmaline and Thane Oswald are both there. I believe we can count them as safe, for now."

"Oswald is good. The Jedi talk annoys sometimes, but he's good" Claire observes

Delores is grateful for the update "What wonderful hearing sluagh have. Thank you, Miss Zara. Yes, Poppy seems to be doing a wonderful job"

"So... tea?"

Rüzgarla ahems "Well, I suppose now isn't a bad time. Uhm.. Baron do you wish to join us?"

"I think I would, yes." evenly.

"Excellent." Zara leads the way to her library.

"Let me know if you need anything for the preperation or wish anything added, Miss Zara. Baron." Delores bows to the latter

Claire nods "I'll stay on watch and in contact with Magnus"

"Thank you, Dame."

"Mm. Are there any fresh cookies ready? My supply might be a bit...." She trails off, letting the implication carry.

"Understood" Delores assures "We have some cookies for your guest, and for your own personal tastes. Rüzgarla? Are you against chocolate chip?"

"I don't talk to people who are," Rüzgarla smiles

A nod, and the steward vanishes. With amazing speed, cookies, both sluagh worthy, and 'regular' will be on small plates to the side of the tea set

"Steward, thou art incomparable as always." Hand on her chest and a little flourishy bow.

"Many thanks, Steward." August adds.

August seats the ladies, and positions the tea set so Zara may play Mother.

"You're both very welcome" And the boggan withdraws.

Zara does indeed enjoy the ritual - with a new guest, she uses tea from the special chest. "Do you do much freelance work, Miss Rüzgarla?"

"Quite often," Rüzgarla admits "I seek to help smaller and more remote holds prosper. They do pay me, not as much as the big ones would, but they need it more."

"Aye? So this is more a vocation than a one-off?"

"I'm an eshu" She says "We're not often considered.. reliable for sticking around? So I found a vocation as you put it, that actually turns that into a bonus."

"Hence why so many are couriers or mercenaries. I suppose this is a bit of both, in a way."

"Just so. There are holds that desperately need new blood in order to carry on. Further, Dream Dances are reemarkable sources of glamour. If you can get someone in one to visit a hold? the bale eats well to no harm to the newly returned"

"Indeed. The fire here is going to be quite happy."

"I'm sure Coradel and the fathers will rejoice as well."

"No doubt" She says

"Regardless, and not denying that, I hope you see why I did make an effort to relocate the boys on my own at first?" Rüzgarla answers

"In other circumstances, it could be very well."

"I confess" She takes the tea offered and sips it "Oh this is very nice." She goes on "I confess. I'm feeling some guilt now that I was so truculent with you, Miss Zara. Your kith has something of a ..fell reputation. I thought maybe you were trying to sell them to a noble hold for your own gain. not that I can cast stones as I do much the same on a ..lower commision. I now see , as the Baron indicatees, I was blind to a LOT of complilcations"
