"In my defense, I was rather disoriented when I arrived. I set off the defenses ere I even realized where I was."

"No wonder you thought you were flickerflashed"

"Hard to get your bearings in a holding cell."

"If... other me? If she was coming from New Agengard..." She considers. "No, she wouldn't be a Namer, certainly. Akanthea would never allow that."

Once you go Skunk, all other women are junk

"I respect her, but that woman is very traditionalist. She gave me some training, years ago."

"The girl is going to have a hard time of it.. but no, she is no namer. One of the reasons I could tell it wasn't you" He says

A soft chuff. "Bit of a giveaway, there, aye. Difficult to be inconspicuous. Part of why I am grateful for that very loud warlock down the hall - any who come here think that he is why they sense the Power."

"Oh yes" A nod "He's like shotgun when he enters a room"

"Begging your pardon... but I can I get a room here tonight?" Emmit says. The working wiped both he and Earl out

"I think I owe you a bit more than that, teacher-mine, but aye, that at least."

"....Tea?"

Earl nods in agreement with Zara,"Though.... pretty sure Zara will want to sleep in her own bed. I think she's sick of mine."

"Tea would be lovely" Emmit says

"Tea." She sets to brew, using the special chest.

"And, well, the bed only distresses for it is far too large to sleep alone." A sly look at Earl.

Earl blushes but smiles too. "A fair point."

Tea is delightful, and Earl admires his lady, safe andd sound, while Zara and Emmit talk Arts and magic theorums

A wee grey grin. And yes, lots of speculation about the nature of the magic which had transpired.
