August, watching the stool and cloche, nods absently.

"Oh, and Benny.... excellent work. I felt much better about the operation with you on my side."

Benny beams "Happy to help, Sir. It was easy...well, okay. I WANTED to get distracted drawing but I remembered you needed my eyes so I hung tough"

Temerity eyes the objects still, but then nods "You did, Benny. Temptation is the hardest tempting there is"

The stool with the servingware.... sits. Waiting.

Temerity takes.. a seat

Her mouse tail uplifted "No harm ever came from a tuffet"

OOC I think there's an object ON the seat, D?

Temerity would need to remove the cloche to sit on the... why yes, that IS a tuffet.

She removes the cloche before butt makes contact "Ye gads, I am unfocused as a Blurry Film"

(Does she lift the cloche from the top or the bottom?)

The top... for she is woozy and comedy may yet occur

Removing the cloche reveals a plate, with cheese and a small dish of preserves.

Temerity gasps and claps her hands softly, "TRUE EWE Aspew!"

She sniffs it like the amborisia it is

And soon she is setting it up, then she looks up "To whomever it may concern, you have struck a blow for cheesy justice today!"

....a wee clockwork spider drops down beside Temerity as she sits on the tuffet, bows, and scuttles away.

August appears nonplussed, but at least he's up to speed on the charges, having read them and the police report.

August reckons it is either Septima or Sexta - the middle sisters can be hard to tell apart.

A gentle smile. "Thank you, Zara." quietly, but with assurance she'll hear.

And Temerity says "I must right a letter of thanks to the Wheys and Means committee of the hold" Before she begins to dine

August's copy of the report may leave out a few facts, the manager wasnt ab out to admit to substitutes or cheese fraud

Indeed, the banlity of her experience seems undone by the mere act of kindness and fun

His smile says it all.

"You milk, not moo milk" Mmm savors

As August won't be snacking between meals, and might get his hand bit if he tried anyway, he moves along.

"Oh you're welcome to some, my liege. It is a treat" she adds a lie "A bit dry"
