A new Steward fill in, temp, is needed. Word goes out

Coradel knows that Delores's assistants can manage things for a while, at least for long enough to keep things from going to chaos before they can get somebody officially in the lead role. She does start interviewing some of the staff, one at a time.

"And that" Vashti explains, "Is why I should be acting steward, so I might force all to wear gothic clothes." The dressmaker moth pooka steeples her fingers "No pastels"

Coradel hides her grin behind a sip of tea. "Noted. Now...if it weren't you...who would be the best Steward, in your opinion? Tell me as best you can."

"Bah, give it to anyone... make it an act of Charity"

A smile and a wink, and she jots a note on a pad of paper. "I'll keep that in mind."

She rises "Excellent, now this my sting a little" SHe breaks out the measuring tape

"Oh, I can take it. I'm tough." Coradel rises gracefully and allows her measure to be taken.

"Well, you shall be dressing as a Shaimar soon"

"Complete with striped tail?"

"mmm " Tempted "A good theme" She brightens

"Actually, yes, it would be! How have we never thought of this before?"

"I blame House Gwydion... when they're not in earshot"

A light laugh. "Generally a good tactic."

Measurements are taken, some which would be personal from anyone but a seamstress

Coradel would be offended if Vashti were anything less than thorough.

"Mmm yes, you should eat more... thin in the skin"

A blink and a curious look. "You mean...I'm larger than I was?" She regards herself, twisting a bit. "Where?"

"oh... it's nothing" Vashti eyes her liege's hips

She runs her hands over her hips reflexively....and then pouts at Vashti. "Very nice try, but there's not a thing wrong with my shape, prankster."

A wicked grin "Thy lord would know better than I" But yes, she was pranking

"Hmph!" Coradel says...but good naturedly.

With that, others might suggest Charity as well, though there's a lot of talent to pick from for the temp. Something to settle on later
