But not before he puts out a group text to his study group inviting them to a sesh at his place. With refreshment and his ... aunt Delores in attendance.

He doesn't get everyone, but at least half of them think it's a good idea and agree to show in an hour or less

He sets the living room up for it, and asks if Delores would mind helping his study group, too.

"Of course, my lord... " She moves to arrange things.. faster if he's not looking

"Thank you. And, ah, you're so good at arranging snacks. Most of these students are junior to me, and apt to be.... munchy." with a gentle smile.

"Feed the body, feed the mind."

She slows down, of course, and that might be good, denying her access to her birthright

"Ahhh... my study group does not have elevated tastes. Open some chips, perhaps?"

"Nachos... with cheese, oh yes... Are any of them lactose intolerent?"

"Not that I know of."

"Excellent" She giggles and gets to it

and the doorbell rings about the time she finishes up

August goes to answer it.

The first of his study group is there "Hey, August. Are you having trouble with jurisdictional boundaries like I am?"

"On so many levels." August assures him "Come in, let's get started. My aunt made some snacks. She's going to sit in and listen."

"That's your aunt?" She asks as she goes in "She looks way too young"

"Good genes on that side of the family." he smiles and makes her comfortable, always a gentleman; a rarity in this date and age!

She smiles at him, "Thanks"

"oh, hello..." Delores beams

"Greetings, ma'am" She says "Good friend of your nephew"

"Nephew?" Delores blinks

"Carol, this is my aunt Delores. Auntie, this is my classmate Carol."

"OOOO... yes, yes..." Delores smiles "wel, any friend of my lieg...err Nephew is a friend of mine."

"A pleasure" A smile from Carol

"Everyone else should be here soon but we can get started. What did you want to go over, Carol? Aunt, will you take a seat?"
