"Soon, love!" Zara has lots of blue and silver tissue paper, and ribbons, and lovely hand-made paper to turn into nametags.

A ssigh, resigned, "Yes, love.. but... it would be nice to see where I'm going in my room. I can't untall myself" A beat "tea is ready when you wish"

"Oo, tea?" A soft uplilt, like the trill of a happy cat.

"Yes," he says, letting the heat carry the scent through the jungle of socks

"Ah, my love." Does she mean Earl or the tea?

A deep chuckle escapes him at that. Fond. Probably both he thinks delighted, "Would you like to join me, or shall I bring it to you while you work which would be less..formal, of course"

"Well... the more I work, the sooner you have a room back."

"Touche, love" And he brings a cup to her, possibly using portal passage to get through a wall of socks to deliver it to her on a small saucer so she can savor while she works. It also gives him a better view of her efforts "Oh, there's some lovely patterns this year."

"Aye. Though thou shalt not see THINE. I have hidden them."

He looks about as if hoping to spot some sign of the mentioned gifts.

"I have hidden them."

A ssmile "if only I knew witch who could scry them out for me... " A glance to her then faux realization "Oh dear"

A gummy grin.

a woflish one back "Well I knew when I fell for you that my secrets were yours, and your secrets were yours too. " A wink "Besides, I know I'll love them."

"Oh, thou SHALT."

"Just in time for cold winter weather where feet need comfy warmth too" Sagely

"Mmm. I have a very effective warmer."

Earl knows this, since she has a habit of sticking her very cold feet against his back at night.

Worth it, though he has wondered if Sluagh haven't used that technique to inspire bone chilling terrior by surprise at times

"One tries" He smiles

She snuggles up against his side, content to nestle as she wraps presents.

And he holds his spot there, suddenly it doesn't bother him so much that his room is her sock storehouse. Not if she is near him

He whispers gently, "Behold, you are beautiful, my love;

your eyes are doves."

And light flirtations with a cup of tea, and socks!
