"You? August...no!" She sounds genuinely surprised by the question. "You are pursuing the mortal work that you need to do to achieve success for the Bannerhouse. I don't see this as a misuse at all. Unless...do you feel it's harming you in some way? Is it becoming too banal?" She knows August has a much greater tolerance for banality than most, but even so....

"I -like- what I do; school, and my internship. I have the privilege of not needing pay, not like the people I represent pro-bono. I want to do it."

"And you still serve the needs of Barony and Bannerhouse, as well as family and friends. Agreed, Leonora?"

"Exactly, August, busy is not a misuse of time, it's just.. busy."

"I try." he murmurs.

"Well said," she says to Leonora.

Then she brushes the curl back from August's forehead, even though she knows it will almost immediately reassert itself. "You are honorable and diligent, August, and we love that about you."

"It's a turn on" Agreed "You're.... sometimes the world is uncertain, things you trust crumble... but you're a rock for us"

"Thank you. Both." he... just accepts it. He does not protest or defer. He accepts it.

Oh, that acceptance definitely pleases Coradel. She leans over and bestows a kiss on his lips as a reward.

"I remember when he could't take a compliment"

"He's so much better at it now!"

"Flattery used to put him on the defensive" A nod

"More salad?" he offers weakly.

"Oh, thank you, August." Coradel deftly plucks a slice of cucumber from the salad and daintily feeds it to Leonora.

"yes thank you" Leonora chuckles

"And thank you" Munch and lick

"Mmmm" Coradel smiles, and offers another cucumber slice to August.

He takes it. "Salad cookies?"

"This is really good" She samples

"Sure, salad cookies it is." She takes a baby carrot and...nibbles.

Fiona training imparts some very particular skills...like how to nibble on a baby carrot without having an unfortunate CRUNCH happen.

Leonora loosk tempted to crunch just to shake things up but behaves herself

August FLARES red.... and eats his sandwich.

Coradel relents and sits back to enjoy her meal a little less intensely. "I do love tormenting you, my love."

"I know." with a shy smile.

"Mortica , Gomez, behave" A grin

August looks puzzled.

She laughs. And the meal actually progresses for a bit until she gets a bit of salad dressing on her fingertip...and offers it out. "Who, oh who will help me be unsoiled again?"

Leonora eyes August "Race you?"

August offers, taking his napkin to dab her finger.

Leonora rolls her eyes, then leans forwards and takes Coradel's finger into her mouth

A soft murmur of pleasure as Leonora wins the race.

"Tasty?" she breathes to her fellow Fiona.

"Ah."

"mmm always" A pop of her lips

Coradel smiles warmly at her, then reaches to take August's hand and dip one of his fingers in a bit of sauce from the sandwich. "How does it compare to...this?" she holds his hand out to Leonora.

She languidly stretches forth and her lips entrap August's finger, then sloooowly she pulls it back with another pop and lick

"One of you is more savory, the other more sweet. I won't say who. More fun if you guess"

"I can... ah, put the food away. For now. If you like."

Coradel laughs lightly at Leonora's comment, then gives August a purr. "I think that's a good idea. A very good idea."

"An excellent notion" Leonora smiles

"Would you like help, or should we wait for you...downstairs?"

"I can take care of it."

"Downstairs we go" Leonora rises

August rises and wraps thing up. Quickly.

She smiles and rises from the table. "Don't be too long," she murmurs too\ him, then takes Leonora's hand. And out they go.

"I... won't....."

Leonora sways her hips, perhaps in sync with Coradel

Oh, the two women move beautifully together as they go. And August already knows how beautifully they move together when they...do other things.
