Mrs. Peacock joins them "Anybody got any clue who where or with what? Not that we have to share "

A pause, and Zara looks at Vince again.

"Madame Plum, I sense you admiring me." He gives her a smile.

"Professor Plum." She gently chides, and puffs on her fake pipe.

"Lady Professor!" He bows, "Forgive me, for having been such a tool. I mean, a fool."

"Aye, that grinds my gears a'times."

"I have some notions about who and where and what didn't do it...but not completely."

Clem says "well, this is one of the last rooms I've looked at so i thought I'd give it a glance. "

She looks about

"Someone was monkeying around, I dare say."

"Ah, but whom?"

Colonel Mustard takes a step closer to the Professor.

Another step.

Another.

He leans in, and whispers, behind a hand. "...Was it YOU?"

Scarlet snickers. "Subtle."

"Was it?"

"Was what?"

"We know at least two of the weapons it wasn't." the Reverend points out.

"I only know that it was not, at all, possibly ME. For you see, Mrs. White was ever so faint and sickly, I had to tend to her. Once I realized she was unwell, of course. Anyone who says I did anything along the way to rush to her side, well, they would have to have some sort of proof."

"Where... is... Miss White?"

A lofty statement. "Too bad none other cares for her." A mischievous grin hidden under his moustaches. "I so did enjoy the consoling."

"There" Mrs. White says fluttering

And a dangerous look from Vashti "DO not raise a stink, Col."

"And surely all here would proclaim their innocence.."

"But... I -didn't- do it."

Peacock says "I will trade a who didn't do it, to a person, just one , who trade me a what weapon wasn't used?"

A sheepish smile to Mrs. White, apologetically from Vince.

"I'm quite certain you didn't, Reverend." Scarlet pats his arm.

"Aye, Miss Peacock?"

"Let me whisper in thy ear?"

Peacock leands down very close

"Shoot" Clem tells her

Peaccock listens, then whispers back

Rev Green looks away, in case he should accidentally read lips? Or something.

Another whisper.

Another whisper, this time Peacock just shrugs

Zara tilts her head, hands on her hips and eyes narrowed.

"Oh, well, if it's going to be like that...." She leans close to the Reverend and whispers to him.

A brief whispered exchange, during which Scarlet gives Green a brief impatient look, and then seems to expect something in return.

"Ah, Miss Peacock."

"Yeah?" CLem says

"So hasty, to get to all the rooms..."

"I mean.. yes?" She corrects more mannered

"So diligent."

Scarlet tilts her head as the Professor speaks aloud to Peacock. "She does seem to get around."

"But oh, thou hast nurtured a resentment for many years, ever since Mr. Boddy gave that endowment to the Nebraska Cornhuskers..."

Clem blinsk,but then plays along "His traitoring ways do not mean I killed him, just that he DESERVED to die"
