Kayla says "You know August, you're cool, but..wow, 'stalwart companions'?"

"I like it," Isaac grins "Mostly because I can tease him with 'and my axe'"

He blushes; it's charming, really. "I...might tend to fantasy, sometimes." he admits.

Brody holds up a hand "The fact the man has a vocabulary is to his advantage. The term is evocative enough to get his point across"

"I tend to prefer non fiction, but to each their own," Brody says "And you're welccome, August."

"We may actually have left over pizza" Isaac says surprised "Three pieces of the Veggie pinapple, two pieces of the pepperoini and sausage. Who wants what to take home this time? I'd say me, but I got it last time"

"You guys enjoy it." he offers "One is my limit tonight."

"I shouldn't..." Brody eyes the last two slices of pepperoni "statistics show my metabolism will slow drastically in the next course of years. Discipline now is key"

Kayla rolls her eyes "Take it already. You're not gonna plump up NOW. "

"I'll take the pineapple and veggie home with me if.. if it's okay?" Alexis asks

"Of course, Alexis." August says gently, looking at the others.

"Brody, eat it in moderation and it should balance out."

"Or go axe throwing with August, burn off those carbs" Isaac grins

August is sidhe, perhaps that's why subconciously some mortals heed him. Or it could be he's making sense

August chuckle. "I'm not very good with thrown weapons." he admits.

The left overs are taken 'to go' by Brody and Alexis

"That's okay, my layup sucks too" Isaac smiles

"My game was baseball, but there's always room to improve in all we do." he says with genuine humility.

"What position?" Alexis asks curiously surprising folks as she never seemed into sports

"Shortstop."

"In high school." he says modestly "For the teamwork."

"That's a hard position" Alexis smiles "My cousin plays for the royals. He's Left field"

"That's remarkable!" August genuinely seems impressed.

"Whaaaat?" Isaac says "You.. the Kansas City royals?"

"No, Isaac," Kayla gets one on HIM for once "The royals of Burgandy" She then turns to Alexis "Not my game but awesome. "

"I don't brag about it too often... if it weren't forh im I'd not be in sports at all" Alexis admits "now and then he offers me a ticket"

"I think you can be justly proud of your connection."

"There's no immodesty in pride for another's accomplishments, especially a relative."

"He's really good" She smiles

"Jealous" Isaac admits "Props"

August finishes his one slice of pizza.
