"Yay......" the Mad Scientist cheers weakly.

the hunchback whispers o the mad scientist "get ready to catch her"

He bolts forward to do so, lab coat flapping perhaps more than he likes, but.....

there is a CLICk sound, and tthe magnet turns off. Corabot starts to fall

Fortunately, she sees August making a dash to catch her, so she twists to fall neatly into his arms.

"Oh!" she says as she lands in his embrace. "Well...this definitely computes."

His expression is panicked, and desperately worried.... but he sets her on her feet. Or wheels. Or... whatever. "As you wish."

As a robot, her expression is somewhat limited...but she reaches to take his hand and give it a reassuring squeeze. "They won't hurt me," she whispers with utter confidence.

He swallows, nods, and steps back.

A wink, and then she's zipping away, back in the service of the Queen.

Doom groans but lays there

Folks cheer

and the queen smiles "glad to see you'rre frree dear"

August drifts back, finding his wall again.

"Nice catch" Leonorra beams

"Thank you." he murmurs.

"enjoying the show?" She asks

"No." softly "You know I never do. But it is her duty."

"Oh rigght. Hoped it was betterr this year"

He shakes his head.

A squeeze of his hand, a supportive friend

He manages a grimace of a smile, and nods to her as he squeezes her hand back.

Otherrs have a fun time

August is fully in support of this... he just has trouble with it himself.

Shallimar whispers "Fear naught, lord. If need be i'll exchage places"

"You... with whom?"

"Beep boop" He smiles And jerrks his head towards the lady bot

"Thank you, Shalimar, but that's not an offer to make to me. It's an offer to make to Coradel. And I suspect she'll decline." he advises gently.

"Oh, I pay no tithe, merely spreading the good word"

"Ah. Yes. Of course."

A wink

He is baffled, but that's not uncommon.

And the party rocks on

"You are kind, Majesty!" Corabot says, spinning around in place in celebration of her freedom.

And finally, the queen says "I have the wishes forr the future to read" She declares, "I'll name no names, but I'll begin:"

Corabot calls out, "Alert! Alert! The Queen is reading our futures!" Gesturing all to silence.

The Mad Scientist listens.

"I wish for a future where we can travel farther and more often than before- so we can all share in the wonders with new eyes"

Corabot nods appreciatively at this.

"I hope in the future " She reads the next "that scientists discover the justice atom, and the molecule of mercy, so we might with effort recreate it" a smile "Pratchet reader here I think"

"I approve of this science," Corabot declares.

Some hands go over hearts. For Sir Pratchet was considered a friend to the Dreaming, and some sluagh have met the Death Chimerrra he helped make

SQUEAK.

She reads the next "I believe the world is not yet worth saving; I'll fight for it now so it lasts long enough so it will be in the future. Oh my, bitter and bright whoever you are"

"A different sort of hope, but still hope, Majesty."

"Well said" the queen smiles then reads on "Oh, someone here hopes that in the future but not too far, the person they love realizes how wonderful they are and this time, believes it"

The robot glances over at where Dr. Doom seems to be sharing in the festivities even after trying to enact his dire plot.

He is being dragged to 'safetty' by a hunnchback

the queen moves on and laughhs "I hope folks that in the future folks remember to restock the toilet paper in the open bathroom; folks here are messy every holiday!"
