He flushes. "Really, Leonora?" plaintatively.

She chuckles and leans against him "I'm just having a bit of fun. Sorry"

He sighs. "No apology necessary. I'm ... just not good at this." the serious young man admits.

"You love your wife, when your friends need you, you're there. You're kind, and you do good." She smiles "You're fantasttic, August"

His blush continues. "Thank you, Leonora. My life is better with you in it, I know that."

"Ditto, " She smiles

Temerity walks by dressed as a wookie

August nods to the Dame in greeting.

"Raaarr , milord" She says "Hast though carped the Deium?"

"Ah. As much as I can, currently."

"For Queen and Country Music" she nods

"Ahhh.... yes. Indeed."

the old queen gives an order "Everyone, get a piece of paper, and put your wish for the future on it, then... we'll put all he papers in a hat, and read some later"

"A SCIENTIFIC SURVEY!" August calls as if it were a duty, and finds paper and writing implements for all.

Somebody on staff hurries to make sure that August has a clipboard for effect.

"Wonderful, Doctor" a clap from the woman

The Automaton zips around the room until she manages to obtain somebody's Rogue fighter flight helmet. "The hat, Majesty," she says. "I will collect the papers for you."

August will, eventually, hand out surveys. Of a sort.

"Lovely, my ggoodness, space has such pretty people"

The Automaton has also enlisted a certain senior satyr's efforts to satisfy the queen's hopes for a 1000-Mile-High experience.

Oh the elderly woman blushes as the asrtronaut flirts

Claire whispers to the fool, "You realize if she has sex with Bachdion at her age, she'll probably have a heart attack"

"First," the Fool whispers back, "there are worse things than dying happy. BUT...give Bachdion some credit. He can dial it down."

"If it comes down to it, though, I think we can return her to the waking world with pleasant remembered dreams of a fun encounter, even if the encounter never actually happened."

"Mmm our queen looks as if she could keel over in a stiff breeze, but I see your point"

Nodding, she holds out the helmet. "Your paper, ma'am?" she says with a wink.

"Stupid rules..." But she hands over her paper

The automaton accepts it and zips away, collecting slips of paper from all, occasionally calling out, "For Science!" as she collects the data.

"Do I have to?" Daria the Centauress says

"Well...Of course I can't give you orders on Carnivale," the Automaton says, "but I think our Queen might have something to say about it if you decline."

She writes it down. Her costume is amusing, she has a UFO balloon hooked up to here so it floats over her and 'flies' oveer her. Her coat is made to look like a crop circle

"Very impressive, by the way," the Automaton says about her costume as she collects the paper. "A close encounter, indeed!"

"thank you. I had help. Lord Hume's suggestion"

"Clever Hume." A nod, and she zips away.

"Like to find HER on switch" A voice inn the crowd says

A quick little spin in place, as flirtatious as this robot seems to get. Then she's away again.

A mad scientist in the crowd goes selectively deaf.

Yes, Corabot gets teased in one way or another

Shalimar lights a matchh against her. Safe from her liege's retaliation! Of course, Vashti smacks the back of his head. He's not safe from her

"I shall learn from this lesson all the right things" Shalimar rubs his head

"Data suggests that statement has a zero-point-five percent chance of being correct."

"Well, yes, but Data's been all pushy since Season 3"

And she zips away again. The helmet is almost full of paper slips. She makes sure to get August's (and pinches his butt lightly through the labcoat as they stand together).
