"Oh, well, you can sit amazed like the rest of us then. I used tto set up things for the sorority, but I got nothing on Fiona"

August nods a bit ruefully "Yes, I am usually amazed by it all. I hope you enjoy the celebration."

"Ahh.... no. No, the focus of the holiday is on the return of light, the movement towards the Seelie of the year. And of course, the renewal of the Balefire. Not gift giving as such."

"Ah." he pinks a little "I... I keep my eyes out throughout the year. That is, I look for things that would please her."

"I.. well, I got an idea and ran with it" She reaches into her bag which seems to carry a lot, then pulls something out "think she'd like this?"

He examines it, handling it if she allows, but with gentle, sensitive fingers "It is beautiful. I think she would be delighted by it. She has a set of bracelets that she is never parted from, but this would amuse her greatly."

He nods slowly "Yes. I would like to see that. A commission?"

"I was hoping, yeah"

He nods and offers it back. "Please, let me see what you can do."

"Will do" She smiles "I make good shit"

August smiles to himself, and settles back to his work.

A spider, one of the sisters, takes a corner to make sure August is okay while Zara is away.
