"Yeah, finding the humble would require a personality transplant."

"You're just a fledge, you wouldn't know" Blossom sniffs

"You were a fledge less than a month ago" Gladiola says to the centaur "Now behave and do what Thistle says while I'm gone, or I'll not escort you back here for a month"

"We could just ditch her."

"No, we really can't" Gwen says "She's of Silverwolf. But do as Thistle says , understood, Blossom?"

"Yes, Dame Gladiola" Blossom says

Gwen nods "Be right back" And off she goes to sign some books out

As soon as she's gone, Blossom sticks her tongue out at Thistle.

Thistle makes a face right back! "Nyagh!"

She has a little brother, she knows how!

Well, that's started something, as the nevers ,even the new one, start blowing raspberries all over

Which.. actually has Blossom who HAD been taken aback at Thistle's big sister counter attack, suddenly gigglling

She is still a kid, albeit one that can't find a hum Bull

"Blergh!" Faces!

"CHIME" Blergh face!

"BLARGH!" BLossom says

"What are you DOING?" Art says, as he trots up.

"Oh, hey Art!"

"Making faces. Heeyrrrgh!"

"BLAAH" Blossom says , one eye closed , tongue out

And the Nevers all do the same

well, with chiming variations

He watches, amused.

"Pbbbt!" Blowing a raspberry.

A muffled laugh.

"Will your face stay that way?"

"NOPE PBBBT PBBT" But she laughs

"Well, if it did, I could scare off folks from annoying me when I'm working."

She pulls a mean mug!

He laughs! "Maybe you can make a sign for your door that's shaped like a face. When it looks like that, we'll know not to knock."

"oh yea? Watch this..." The centaur gives good narrowed eyes and nostril flare, but she can't hold it

"Look what I got! I mean, borrowed." He shows Thistle THE BOOK

A grin. "Maybe! Oo... oh! Oh, is that chimerical?"

Gwen returns "I swear, Miss Zara's nice enough but I sometimes feel like anything I say is being recorded..." she blinks at raspberry nevers and grr faces "WHat the heck?"

Nevers not wanting her to miss out, get in her facee and go "PPPBBBT!

"Thistle... I don't know what started this, but could you reign your friends in? ANd fix Blossom's face?"

"What are you doing out here, anyways?"

"I dunno, maybe her face froze that way?"

"It didn't" Blossom gigles

Gwen rolls her eyes "We're about to leave. I had to sign for YOUR books. I told you to follow me here then I left and argh"

"But why are you in the Garden? I thought Blossom was going to the Aerie."

"I did, hours ago" Blossom says "Arthur, you're weird"

"Be nice, Blossom" Gwen says, then looks at Athur and kens him for Bedlam

Art seems fine. Then again, HE lives in a mortal home, whereas Gwen is the one who stays most of her time at a Freehold...

"Can we go home now?"

"I'm sorry, Thistle." Genuinely contrite. "I thought you'd want to talk to that jeweler, and then I was going to just look at the Library..."

She scowls, spirals muddying.

He ducks his head a bit. "I really am sorry. I am! I shouldn't have gone. Please do not be mad at me. How can I make it up?"
