Oh there are nockers at Earth Runes, only two of note to most- Bettie, and Kylie Glitzertraum. Bettie hangs out at Agincourt's workshop, but Kylie is more out and about, and for a nocker more social. It's possible to run into either

It is Kylie they run into first. The blue streaks in her hair confuse one Never for a second, and Kylie swats at it "Hey, leave the furshulunnk do be... what are you doing out of the furking garden?"

Kylie lacks Thistle's magnetic touch whenn it comes to Chimera, but the beautiful jewelry about her wrist, fingers, and neck to display her wares are certainly the sort that might draw them for different reasons .

They do like shiny things!

The unfamiliar nocker who follows the Nevers looks... subdued, with dull spirals at odds with her neon hair.

"You bring these in?"

"Citrine, c'mon, don't bother her..."

"Huh, that is Citrine" She notes.. and reaches into a bag and pulls something out "Yup. Matches the color" Earrings in her hand

Thistle bites on her lip, frowns and sort of... nods?

The college age girl looks over, and notices the look "You okay, kid? "

"Yeah. Sorry. Just killing time until Gwen's done."

"Oh yeah, good old Gwen... ah, who is that?" She says

"Dame Gladiola, sorry."

"Oh, uhm troll? From Silverwolf?"

"Yeah."

"I made an Amber stone necklace for the Baroness there once. Before she was Baroness there in fact " A proud look "One of my first commissions outside this area. Not bad for a gal who thought the Dreaming's Sorting hat put me in the wrong Kith at first, huh?" A nocker grin

"Yeah."

"So what's your story.... oh shit, names. I'm Kylie . Yours?"

"Katrina."

Well, at least that was three syllables!

"I'd say nice to meetcha, but you've been closed up ever since I put out the ear rings" A brow raised "If this is about the TEENSY little flaw in the clasps, as long as the wearer doesn't run, they're fine"

"No, they're nice."

"I'm just waiting for Gwen so we can go home."

"I'm not allowed on the trod by myself."

"Oh, a fledge" A snort "Oh been where you are... I had kids half your age telling me what I could and couldn't do for my own good. Furkin SUCKS"

"Yeah."

"Good news is you get time to tinker, learn what you love if you're not sure when you change. I still can't SPELL Lapidary ,but I am one... jeweler too technically. The secret is to trust your hands, give them some free reign at first. See what they reach for, wha they want to improve or craft outta nothing. The hands know"

Said hands clench defensively. "Yeah."

The body languae is not lost on tthis nocker, she's more social than some "Okay, either I HAVE Pissed you off, or something is eating at you. Look, that troll friennd of yours? Trolls aren't fast. They plod until trouble arises. You want to hang out in my work shop to pass sometime? "

"NO."

"..sorry. No. No, I'm just.. I'm gonna wait."

"Geezus... you act like I'm a 40 year old guy hitting on you.. fine fine.. I can take a furkin hint" She backs away muttering "Silverwolf crew thinks its too good now that it's got nockers of it's own? Fine. No need to lift your nnose up at me"

"Or what?" Hannds on hips "You'll huff and puff and blow my house down? Look, big bad, hate to break it to you, but your hold is kind of bumfuck egypt... except egypt's at least considered exotic, and you guys are in that spot nno one thinks of when they hear the words New York. That's fine, world needs boondocks too, but it's not worth copping a tude about"

"I'm not copping a tude, you tone-deaf kneejerk!"

"Look, Bristleshorts, if you're acting like you're too good to talk to folks while a guest in another hold.. you're Tude Copping. At leastt woman up and admit it"

"But you leave Silverwolf alone. We DO have better nockers than you. Wudlig's an engineering genius, and Willy's an artist. She makes every piece of tack on the nags here look like week-old trash bags."

"I did furkin' talk to you!"

"I'm sorry Citrine bothered you, ain't like you can tell a Never what to do."

"Like I was panhandlingg.... and Wudlig's with Darkgate, your neighbors don't count... " A roll of her eyes "The Never's fine. Its you who are acting like talking to me is torture. You wannna be alone? I leave you alone"

"Wudlig's ours."

"Leave me alone, but don't... you don't know DREK about SIlverwolf."

"I know enough to know our crafters can take on your crafters any day off the week! You and me, Kid! When are you sained? 10 days after your naming, we throw down, get an impartial judge or group or something! You want a piece of Earth Runes? You got it!"

Her spirals dim, a sour grey. Instead of a reply, the fledge looks away.

Kylie has alrady turned away too, cursingg up a storm "I can't believe she snubbed my workshop.. who does that? I don' even..." she departs, though her curses echo througgh the hall

Trina retreats to a hallway alcove, curling up to sit on a bench and wait until she can just go home.
