"Thanks for the escort, Gwen. We can take it from here." Art nods thankfully to the Troll.

At least one of the Nevers has noticed the spiders, and is clinging protectively to the top of Thistle's head. Well, riding on her, holding her hair.

A brow lift from the troll "You sure?"

"Do Eiluned like spiders?"

The door opens and a slim wilder speaks "Oh, the spiders aren'tt mind. Who arr you?"

Art nods to Gwen. "I figured you'd want to go visit with Sir Ivory..."

He turns as the door opens, and bows to the Wilder. "Are you Sir Almandine?"

"I am.. I'm Seer here. You're nott of Earth Runes. Why do you seek me out?"

"I was hoping to get your help in decoding a... well, I -think- it was a vision. Oh, we brought cake!"

"It was totally a vision. You got that face." She gestures with wiggly fingers by her eyes.

"But then why couldn't I remember it? After all the work we did to make it, uh... spark?"

"Well... can't say I've ever been paid in.. cake before" Wryly "Come in" He openns the door annd movees aside

"You've never tried Marigold's cake before." Art says, stepping in.

"This." A nod at Art's statement.

She follows, looking around. (Chime!)

Art also is immediately curiously peeking around. Things to look at! To peer into. To touch?!

Booksheelves with rows and rows of occult tomes. Dark Tapestries with icons and symbols... and on the Ceiling? A star chart! With marks

He stops short and stares up....

"Ooooooo."

He whispers, half to himself, "Can I live here?!"

Thistle bites on her lip.

"No." Alamadine says "I have enough minds to feed. " he moves to an ornate desk and takes a seat

One of the Nevers gets close to a candle... and is sucked in.

"Oh dear" He sigghs.. as the wax has a little figure in it.

Alarm!

"Is she okay?"

"Just light the wick, it'll free the chimera again"

Art shakes his head, and grins sheepishly. "I didn't MEAN it, really. I just mean... I never really knew what a perfect room might look like. But if I had a dream of one... it might look an awful lot like this."

She pats her pockets, looking for a lighter.

She has that long lighter that Marigold was using to turn on the pilots on the oven until Thistle fixed it!

She takes it out, clearly intent to light said candle.

"I'm glad you like. Something to aim for" he says "Now, this vision?"

He takes out a page from a sketchbook, and slides it over in front of Almandine. "It... I felt like it meant something when I was drawing, but now it's just... this."

Chicken scratches, wobbly ovals intersecting. Dots and lines that don't quite line up.

"I thought.. is it possible to have a vision about a vision? Maybe you can see what I didn't..."

He adds, "The cake is an award winning recipe." It certainly SMELLS good...

"He saw specific constellations, too!" Fwish goes the lighter!

When she lights the candle, the Never first appears as a flame, then resumes normal form. She flees to the safety of Thistle's hair

"Specific stars.... but each is in a constellation. But... I feel like it MEANT something. Like I saw... not just a list, but an entire, you know... " He paces a little, looking for the word. "A tableau, a scene, a dialogue..."
