"Aye." Smug as a cat with cream, and she sits back to return to her tea.

Clem sips as wel, then savors it, "Every consider sweet tea instead?"

"It hurts my teeth."

"you don't have teeth" Clem points out

A gummy grin!

"Bit of a snob you are" but she smiles as she says it "Snubbing good ole sweat tea"

"Aye, quite the snob. Tea is very serious business."

"Fine. I'm a bust romantically" She admits "How are you doing? Let's not make all this about me"

"Oh, I am well. There has been a fair amount of family concerns..."

"Oh? Tizzy having trouble?"

"She is doing well, all considered."

"Then, what are the family concerns?" Curious

"Not all concerns are bad. But busy!"

"Ah," A smile "Well, that can be good then. I can tell you, after Mara blossomed I learned what a unbusy nocker is capable off. She got cranky. Tried to hook up the Mountain's still to jumper cables for extra zing"

"Ha!"

"In her defense, it did help the mix, but wasn't worth the fire risk"

"Well, nothing ventured..."

"One can tell you've been partly raised near nockers with that phrase so ready" Clem mmms and sips "Earl tells me you folks maybe getting a house in Scarsdale in a few decades, but setting up one now to rent?"

"Oh, that... aye." A touch of pink.

Clem smiles "WHy Zara, I do believe you're blushing yourself. Turn around is fair play though. You do realize by the time that house has been lived in by other folks for two decades, it's gonna be a bit worn down?"

Clem considers "Then again, that might be the point. Pardon, sometimes I forget sluagh aesthetics"

"A pity I cannot have a century-old home..."

"Technically you could" Clem says "But you'd have to use Chronos and that aint' easy come by"

"I should try to learn that one next..." She muses.

A brow "You never take an easy path...thought you'd work up your existing ones up though. You gone as far as you want in Chicanery?"

"I've not... but there is a lot of appeal in seeing what was as much as what is, and what may yet come to pass."

"You could always see if you learn from Sir Magnus," Amused "You could be his apprentice." She knows the Fiona's style makes her secret loving friend twitchy

She gives Clem a Look.

"How about Minerva?" A brow "Girl knows the basics"

Of..course she does. Minerva is a sidhe. Sidhe are allowed access to Chronos

"Feh. Sidhe are handed those arts on a silver platter."

"This I know, but don't get so mad about it you act like a cow that won't eat grass where you find it just because fences are up. If she'll help you learn it, then don't you think it's who YOU can teach that matters more than where you got it from?"

"I shall not beg a sidhe for teaching."

"Don't beg, trade, or better yet, remind her the haven is there for such. She needs to pay her way, and that's one way to do it, teaching others"

Clem raises a brow "You were just telling me how MY pride gets in my way, that and fear. You gonna practice what you preach or what?"

"This is not fear. I could easily have bent myself before sidhe before."

"You don't have to bend at all to ask someone for a lesson" SHe points out

"Feh."

"Alright alright. If I learn of a non sidhe who knows it I'll pass it onto you " She sips "No time for a new art myself lately on top of what I'm already studying"

"I understand that, aye."

"How's Earl's painting going?" She inquires "Besides his usual creepy but lovely style?"

"He has been busy with a fair number of commissions - private clients can pay well, but they can be fussy."

"IF they were smart they'd let him wing it more, always turns out great when he wings it." She says then admits "Course, one time he winged it, the damn painting gave me nightmares and I asked him to cover it up when I visited." She does not name WHICH painting

"Oh - the beansidhe?"

"Nope. Before he met you actually" She does not elaborate.
