"Yes, Lord, we're quite well, it had some nasty scuffles but together we over came all obstacles" He nods to Velvet

Velvet chimes happyily "We met death"

"Mister Pratchet's version, ,he's...a really nice guy, that death" Tylar explains

"I have his signature" Velvet smiles happily

"It's called an autograph" Tylar teases

"SQUEAK" intones a small chimera by Velvet's foot.

Velvet blushes and reaches down

The chimera appears to be a rat skeleton in a black robe, bearing a tiny scythe.

"And you brought the Death of Rats back with you?"

"Well, I don't suppose you're a danger to Dame Temerity, she's a mouse pooka." The lithe squire plucks up the death of rats and puts it on her lap "Twas not intentional"

August nods. "Well. Please, finish eating and clean up and I look forward to hearing details. If you choose to share them."

"Yes sire, thank you, we'll show you our prize then" Squire Tylar says

"Excellent." August will leave them in peace, for now; they earned it.

"Well, master Death of Rats, we shall not be rude hosts rest assured" Velvet whispers "But I shall slurp my soup just a wee bit. No teeth"

"SQUEAK."

Tylar shakes his head, smiles and digs in

"Of course, I'll have something brought in for you, the staff here are most expert," She assures

"You understood that?" Tylar blinks

Velvet rolls her eyes, "It's a very civilized language"

Tylar shakes his head and goes back to his food. This is going to be a thing, he can tell
