Primarily a matter of which he finds first.

And so it is, he finds Rachel first. She's in the bar talking to Jack there.

Jack nods "Hey, if I were in a coma I would want a drink too when I woke up. Besides sometimes cock tails are a treat. Lots of guys are too macho to have the fancy drinks. They're cheating themselves"

"You mean, in their heart of hearts, every guy wants to try a strawberry Daiquiri with a little pink umbrella in it?" Rachel smiles

"At least once in his life without shame" Jack observes, and when he sees August he waves "Hey, August"

"Hello, Jack. Hello, Rachel. May I join you?"

"Of course, my lord, " Rachel answers "my family lives to aid"

Then she blushes 'I keep saying old timey stuff"

"Yeah, easy on the lord stuff down here,, this is the one place in the hold where the nobles and commoners are all just drinkers..." Jack tells her, then nods "Sure thing, August, can I get you anything?"

"Tea? Thank you."

"Rachel, I don't suppose you have any memories of the link between our families?"

Tea is prepared. Just the way August likes

Seems Jack has gotten to keeping tea handy what with August and Zara in the place

Rachel says "Quite a lot... my family helped your family and vice versa. We swore 'lasting oaths' to the Truthbranch and agreed to ..give ourselves to repay you saving our lives because some of us wanted to see the Dreaming anyway. If I recall, the Truthbranches were glad to have volunteers instead of those they would have to force out for something, but told us it wouldn't likely be necessary or often"

August nods gravely. "Do you think you might write down your memories? I have looked in House records but I wasn't able to find much at all and I know House Liam would be glad to learn such a thing is possible."

"Yes Lo... August" She catches herself "What.. IS the Dreaming like? the.. paths of Silver?"

Jack raises a brow

"That... is one of those things, the knowledge of which, could prove a problem for you." gently. "It is reserved for Sained Fae, for the most part."

"Oh."

"I'm sorry." sincerely "I would not endanger you for all the world."

"I don't feel in danger, lord.. err August." She says "But that's fine. UP to you. I'll forget in time. THe mists" A sigh "But, " She perks "I'll see mother and dad and bro soon"

"I stopped by to see them earlier. Your parents were out, but I spoke with Weatherly. Ah."

"I was there when you texted him."

"Did you want to see my texts? I haven't betrayed anything" She assures and offers her phone up

He smiles and shakes his head. "No need. He mentioned you were thinking of introducing him to Leonora?"

"She's GORGEOUS, isn't she?"

"She is, inside and out."

"Yes. I thought he might please her" a nod

"I, ah, suspect it's possible."

"And he couldn't do better could he?"

"Leonora is one of my, ah, closest friends. Ithink the world of her."

"Oh, weatherly would never hurt her, not on purpose' she assures

A glance at Jack. "Rachel, do you have memores of House Fiona?"

"Yes, of course, The Margravess came from that House originally right?"

Jack looks at August and seems to read into it, and gives them more space and privacy while he 'cleans' further out

"Baroness Coradel, yes." he corrects gently "She is House Fiona. As is Dame Leonora. What do you recall of the House?"

"Great warriors, good horsemen, fearless and. .uhm " A blush "oh..well, very.. some of them are very.. romantic"

"Yes, very. A very passionate House."

"AH, well, weatherly might be a bit.. well, ah.." She blushes "I'll warn him she's a ..free spirit?"

August seems emensely relieved. "Yes, exactly. I know from personal experience it.... can take some getting used to."

"Yeah" She looks JUST a bit worried "Weatherly can be kind of..reserved"

"As can I." he confesses "Which is why I thought I would mention it."

"Oh... are you and.. wait I'm confused. DId you used to date Dame Leonora?" She asks

"Ah. We have dated, yes." he says with absolutel honesty.

"Well, then is she.. I mean... is she a mistress?"

Jack is whistling in the corner as he cleans

"Ahhh...."" incredibly, he's bllushing.

"Leonora is a very close, dear frined." he clears his throat.

"YEs but the way you're talking.. I thought maybe.. in the before time it wasn't unusual to..." She blushes "I think? I'm sorry it's hard to remember all details"
