Pout angry he can handle, far easier than raging Nobility angry. He sits beside her, and if not rejected, strokes her hair much as he himself would be soothed.

A humph, but not a rejection. She is sullen. "Such good victories, but my joy in them must be undermined by such a stupid boy."

"Just a boy, yes." He muses. "Playing at being more - the sovereign ruler to appoint his vassals, and then off to run on a valiant rescue. Tis almost as though he tries to show how fit he is to be accepted as a wilder and equal, ruler and grown. What may have spurred a young man's fancy towards puffery and daring-do?

I must say, I haven't a clue."

The pout remains...then she blinks. She turns to him. "Did Innish say that he picked up a sword?"

"Did he?" A blink. "I do not recall. I'm certain that Shalimar said something about a being being butchered, and off went the lad, but perhaps that was just another jest."

"And vivisection..." She frowns, considering. "We don't know how to locate him?"

"One might try a will o' whiskers?"

"Or seek guidance in a certain polecat with wandering eyes." He admits.

"Not that I'd believe him, mind you." Vince feels compelled to add.

She looks at him a long moment, then gives his mane a tender stroke before claiming a soft kiss....

He returns it, then gives her a shooing motion. "I needs must seek the Steward. There are amends, lest Lion Stew be on the dinner menu."

She's already standing before he finishes. "Yes. I will speak with Shallimar. And if I must be gone, remind people that Delores is in charge." She gives him a quick wink.

And then she's hurries out of the room.

If she crashes into an eavesdropper, they should know better.

A sigh, watching her go. Once gone, he must admit, "She was rather glorious, in her anger. It is a shame that I must wait for such affairs to admire her so."

But such meetings are for another time

She finds Shallimar who.. looks worried

"Shallimar, walk with me, and tell me where Lord Hume may have gone, if you can." She is heading in the direction of the stables.

He perks at that "Ah, there she is... I was worried we'd lost her... but once more to the rescue she goes, my flame haired sister of hero heart. Alas... he was too clever for me, lady. I can't hack him.. I can only take pictures" And he shows her HIS phone, on it, a picture of Lord Hume's Tablet, with a map

She looks, and smiles. "My clever jester." Her mood seems very much improved, indeed. She pauses in her stride to focus on the map.

It's not perfect, a picture of a picture, but she knows her town! She has quested, visited and shopped here!

So she recognizes the way to the deserted clinic

Can she get there with Samson, or must she take the car. The mists can obscure much....

If she sticks to the alleways she can ride samson but she may get arrested by police for taking a horse in otwn limits IF she gets caught

That's not something she fears...but it could be an interference. "Dammit." She changes course and heads back towards her car. "Shallimar," she says as she hands him back his phone, "let August know where I've gone. And fill him in on the matters at court."

"Well, as long as the Baron checks in with the Chancel-Roar..." But he mock ducks "It's the foolscap, makes me say crazy things"

"Hmph," she says over her shoulder to him as she's walking away. Mock-irritation, only. The worst of her ire is spent...well, until she finds out who this new enemy is. And she's off to her car.

And soon she is driving off towards the abandoned clinic.

She drives and has to work around a bit. The clinic has a fence up.. and she hears gun fire???

What has that fool of a boy gotten himself into? She parks only slightly haphazardly and seeks a way in, climbing the fence if need be.

"YOU HAVE 30 Seconds to comply!" A mechianical voice booms "30....13..4.. fuck it! " More shooting

ANd Coradel climbs the fence to get to the otp and sees in a window from this angle something that looks like a mecchanical robot out of Sci Fi...like Ed 209 in that old Robocop movie... it is NOT chimerical

and it fights and attacks men in lab coats who are fighting back with oversized guns... the men look part machine themselves

If she can jump from the top of the fence to that window sill, she does. Otherwise, she drops from the fence and seeks a door to get in.

And to that window she makes it

From there she looks about.. the cyborgs (?) are cursing something about malfunction and paradox... and dying... she also sees Leonora firing with arrows, working the edges in a ground war... against the cyborgs

She flicks her wrist to get her bow in hand, and takes aim at one of Leonora's targets.

Wyrd evoked... she fires... it would appear thei're on the side of the killer machine

Well, 'they' being the Fiona and..soemwhere a Dougal?

The machine gets a grenade... but the cyborg who threw gets an arrow, COradel's arrow, in his chest!

"Welcome to the party, friend" Leonora calls out as she recognizes the arrow to their aid

"Sorry I'm late!" she calls back, and chooses another target to fire at.

"Get away from the robot" Hume's voice calls out THROUGH the robot that is attacking the cyborgs "I can't hold back it's shut down self destruct... She's free of the straps... I got the doctor... "

Coradel lets her second arrow fly, and then looks for the best route to get to the floor quickly.

Her second arrow skiffs into one.. more a distraction than a grievous wound but it buys her time to land on the floor .Where she was, a hail of bullets shattered the glass, but so far. she's alive! WOO this is exciting!

"Wooo, this is exciting!" Her House sister says

"Oh god this is terrifying!" Hume's voice crackles

Dougals... the Dream of invention and buzzkill

"You mentioned self-destruct?" she calls out as she readies to fire another arrow.
