He texts back: All is well. Can you come to Hume's room?

"Yes, apparently so." to Ivory, and then to Hume "I have a matter of some urgency to discuss with you, My Lord."

"More urgent than Double Dungeon Bonus points?"

"YES!" not volume, but with urgency and firm surity.

"Okay, uhm.. what is it?" He says, surprised anything is more urgent than Double Dungeon Bonus point week

"If Iwere to give you information on a person, mortal, could you effect thier social media negatively? Perhaps learn more about thier background?"

He nods "Easily if they have the average person's security comprhension. There are still folks who use Password as a password"

Hume's expression for a moment seems to indicate such people deserved to be crushed so the rest of the population may go on smarter for it

August nods. "What information do you need to take action?"

"Name, date of birth?"

"Her name might be a start, date of birth AND Name is golden. That's why companies waant the day when the month and year would do"

He pops his knuckles "Who is it you want me to hack?"

Hume looks suddenly confident, the very image of a sidhe lord in his expertise

"I would like background information. Arrest histories, financial scandels, social embarassements. Following that I may wish you to take further action, inflicting consequences. Are you willing?"

A pause "Sure but.. can I ask who this is helping? "

August's phone buzzes. TXT: On my way from the mansion, couple minutes.

He reads, nods. "Lady Coradel."

"Oh.. well then that's an order " He blushes "Sure"

And indeed it is only a couple of minutes until she gets to EarthRunes. She must have been en route already by the time she texted. And soon she arrives at Hume's room. A quick knock at the door.

"Please come in" he says

She does so, and nods to him. "Lord Hume. There is news?" she asks August.

August tells her of his visit with Chelsea.

"The baron wants me to hack Chelsea, I think?"

She listens...and scowls. "August, I know you thought you could reason with her, but you've got no leverage because she simply doesn't care." Then a sigh and a nod. "If it can be done, Lord Hume, please do it. I also...may need you to clean some records regarding my host's former behavior."

"Cleaning records can be harder, but where there's a Dougal there's a way"

She nods slowly. "August, what did you have in mind for Hume to do, once he hacks her account? I have ideas, but I think they may be more vindictive than practical," she admits.

"She thinks she is blackmailing me, but granted me three days to work some magic. I have exactly that in mind. Put her in a position where she has more to lose than we do."

"Blackmail her back."

"Is her birthday?" Hume names the birthday

August looks at Coradel. "I thought you might know her birthday and surname?"

Oh she's a Dubois by Surname

more's the pity

Coradel thinks, then nods. "I believe so. The memories are dim, but...that sounds as though it might be right."

"And she's a DuBois. Sadly."

"I would like to know what her hidden shames are first, then determine what damage to do with them. Also, I have a warning strike in mind to deliver."

"The most recent is the business with the yacht, and the fisherman in the hospital."

"But I have no doubt, none at all, that there are more."

"Oh! Oh, August...she was going to Vassar, before she abandoned it. Perhaps Zara had a run-in with her?"

"I will ask." Dubious, then with interest "She -says- she lost interest.... what if she didn't have a choice. If she was sent down?"

Hume has been tapping

"Okay she's on face book, youtube, tiktok, instagram, twitter and reddit. " He taps "Compling a search on her interests to compose a password most likely due to them"

"That sounds really likely. She does like to reframe things."

Coradel watches Hume with some curiosity.

"She fancies herself an influencer."

August blinks. "She is your age?" he asks Coradel.

"Abit older.." Hume answers for Coradel "But a lot less mature"

"Chloe was going to Vassar too. Perhaps Chloe knew something? The DuBois, -our- DuBois, were where she turned for shelter."

"Close to my age, yes. And...maybe? Oh! Oh, August...she probably kept a diary of some sort. Chloe, I mean."

"I don't know about Shelter, but I can tell you EVERY Place she ate for 6 months"

"No hacking required. She's one of those who takes pictures of food"
