Zara's hands curl, forming a complex gesture to help her focus as she tugs on the Name, shaping it to a new form... ‡ to Š to Ž and µ...

And Bronte breathes on the book "By the love that is intended, let this injury be mended"

Not so much as a flicke of glamour, or a 'rush' but rather a luminescent stew, swirled and spiced

Annd then... the book looks different

annd in the jar, a moth!

The cocoon and paper have disappeared, the mosquito is now a soft and dusty...Lymantria!

He looks at the moth, astonished. "That wasn't Metamorphosis." he says slowly. "I've seen that before, and felt it." He looks to Zara, not saying aloud what he suspects.

Gerd nods "it's ..TRULY a moth"

Zara nods. "And so you understand why your discretion is vital. I shall aid my kith. I shall aid commoners. But...."

"But no noble needs to even suspect," Gerd nods "at least for as long as you can keep it secret"

"Precisely. Others of the Art can sense me. And I them. But it can be... imprecise."

"Nobles think they control so much. But the tighter you hold something, the more likely it will try to slip your grasp." He looks ...smug.

"Good night moon," Brontie says , and faceplants.

she put a lot of her energgy in that breath, to do more than heal it's form, but it's soul

"Hey, hey there. Little dragon. Wake up. You have to be the first one to read this new book."

A soft chuff.

That stirs the bookwyrm a bit

Gerd gapes "Thatt's.. both adorable and amazing"

"Methinks it shall be safe in your keeping now, Denier. Though you may well have a tagalong with you."

Quetzel huffs, but then, as if embarassed by the lack of predatorial beheavior it shows, he licks Bronte lightly, a bit of his glamour to her

Then a deadly look as if warning anyone to comment on this almost warmblooded actionn

Zara makes a show of ignoring the act. Etiquette demands.

He taps lightly the jar where the moth flutters. "Can I let it out?"

His lip curls at Quetz, but he also says nothing.

Zara nods

Lid is loosened, and the moth flies free!

Quetz eyes it tempted

"I owe you, cousin. You've done something amazing here." Then... he frowns. "Dagmar and Dirk know about the original book. Dirk probably will forget, or not care. But Dagmar is no dummy. I won't lie to her if she asks." A sigh. "I can tell her I can't tell her, and she'd trust me. But your secret. Maybe you'd better take the book after all."

Annd the moth fluters, looking for a dreamer

but to give something, rather than take perhaps

Zara shakes her head. "You keep it. Dagmar... is a troll, nu? If you must tell her my identity, bind her with a promise. But if she would trust that you took it to a friend..."

"If I tell her I can't tell her, she'll understand." He says, with complete faith. "But she might guess."

"So it goes. I defy any to wrest my knowledge from me now."

"I sympathize with the buffoon" Gerd says

He hesitates a moment, then whispers to Zara, "I've learned a touch... of time manipulation. If I can repay you in like, you let me know."

Zara's eyes widen, and then her grey lips curl into a smile. "Well done, cousin."

Gerd bblinks "Ok. I can't hear half of what you two are discussing, but I'm feelingg like a wimpy witch wayfare aside"

"Sayeth the mistress of flicker-flash and caster of pyretics. Feh!"

"And a touch of soothsay" Blush
