While there maybe questions on whether it is honorable or not, the phrase 'female problems' will probably have the professor asking few questions

August knows, but he's focused on caring for Leonora right now. Coradel is emminently capable and Leonora usually is too.... just now, however, she needs care.

It's some 40 minutes later that Coradel comes striding into the manor. Not running, but with a quick step that communicates both urgency and anger. She passes her school laptop case off to a boggan without breaking stride and heads straight for the balefire.

Leo writhes a bit.. but calms as August tends to her

The servant takes the lap top quietly with practice ease

And there at the balefire she sees Leonora, she's been healed some, but she still looks like she's been stabed by a spear tip more than once

She moves to her side opposite August. After observing the bloodstains, the whispers to him, "Rollo texted something about a unicorn. Do you think it was the beast? Or a Scathach?"

"My experience with unicorns is limited; I really don't know. Perhaps somone knows if she was on patrol, and where?"

Honoria bows low "Baroness, Baron, would you like me to willowhiper her .. uhm.. her blood?"

"my god, that sounds morbid" Leonora croaks out

Coradel is about to agree, but then Leonora speaks, and she lets out a short, relieved laugh. She leans forward to give Leo a quick kiss on the forehead. "You sound better than you look. What happened?"

"A unicorn attacked me... said the most awful things" Leonora says "Oh, where's Thistlesnort? Where's my basselope?" She tries to sit up right but isn't strong enough

Coradel looks around for the hound.

"Shhh..."August glances at Coradel. "Ican go look."

Coradel's eyes widen. Thistlesnort has healing powers of his own. If Leonora returned this wounded, and her chimera is not nearby....

She shakes her head. "You stay here. I'll find him."

And with that, the baroness leaves August to tending with the others

"Baroness, you might want to take someone along?" Steward Delores suggests

Coradel has already started storming out. The voice of reason brings her to an annoyed halt. "Fine. Who's available?"

'Well, I am.. I can wilo the wisp and help track him" Delorest states

"With me, then. Hurry." She's aiming back for her car with that same quick pace.

Delores follows quickly "I remember driving you here once. How times change" She does pick up her pace to keep up. WIth her shorter legs it probably looks like she's jogging and she gets into the car "Leonora will be fine"

A brief, fond smile. "Times do change, indeed." But she's clearly tense with concern.

"I wonder where she encountered it?"

She gets them underway. Delores might benefit from the fact that they're going to be following her Wisp...Coradel will have to drive carefully enough to watch it. However, if it goes at speed, all bets are off.

Delores begings to shake her hands... and lets a wisp ahead

And it goes at a speed , locking onto the target

"Oh dear" She is resigned "I have no idea"

Coradel gets a focused, intense look, and the chase is on!

Coradel seems to have forgotten she was in a car wreck once. Then again, Fiona live in the now... and NOW Leo is trusting her to find Thistlesnort. So Zoom zoom. The little wisp leading them at first South then weaving west!

The only thing that might make her the tiniest bit cautious is the fact that her passenger is a beloved friend. But her quarry is the first thing on her mind.

"The lights about to turn red..." She warns

Well that either means slow down to stop, or GUN it to beat it

And option 2 it is. VRRROOOOOM!!!!

"I want ot say Hail Mary and I'm not even catholic..." Delores gulps

You know, if the guy in the pick up really wanted that part of the road, he should have gotten to it first

And then about a half mile away, the wisp turns off the road and goes into the wood

"Hang on," she advises, as if Delores weren't already clutching to whatever might be in reach. She looks for a road, a path, anything she can drive on to follow.

Side road, really more of a dirt path.. tight fit

"Ah, Coradel? I think we're running out of ... that road is awfully narrow"

Coradel tries for it, but then screeches to a halt when it's clear that, nope, car's not gonna fit. She puts it in park, leaps out, and starts pursuing the wisp on foot.

"Oh my heart" The wisp slows down as the boggan does, but Delores tries to stay with her liege on foot

The wisp heads to find Thistle snort, who looks ..tired and wet.. he must have licked himself, juding by the blood

by the blood spots on the ground near him . He seems healthy enoug hnow, and wags

"Oh, thank goodness! Thistlesnort, Leonora's safe and she's asking for you." Coradel leans down to heave the chimera into her arms, trying to avoid the antlers.

As she reaches for Thistlesnort, he GROWLS, rather fiercely! Most unlike him

She's surprised, but hardly fearful. "Oh, honestly...I'm trying to help you, you nitwit!" She tries again.

And that's when Thistlesnort lunges at her...

and PAST HER...

"What are you...?!" she turns as he moves past her to see what's happening.
