"Tell you what, Zara, if you are willing to distrbute some of the books I had set up locally for me, or find someone who will, I will start driving right away to Scarsdale non stop. Sounds like a sad story, and while we need sad stories, I hate to see a newblood stuck in one"

It may occur to Zara that if Earl were ot use use some dross, he could probably flicker flash truck and Eshu to a street in Scarsdale instantly

"I... could hasten the trip..."

"Even with the truck. Earl knows Scarsdale quite well."

"She is not alone - my parents are of the blood, mine Uncles are nockers... but..."

"Well... that's fine then" She smiles "Normally I like the travel for it's own sake, but to help this young one, why not rush a bit? tell me about this girl? What's she called, and how cann I tell your folks I'm not there to cause trouble but help her out?"

"Her name is Tziporah. She... there was a crime. Five lives lost - I suspect, now, twas her soul's gift that allowed her the moment to escape when it struck... when no others managed."

"But she has lost her family, and the smell of death still hangs heavy in the air."

"My parents have taken her into their home. Their hearts are large, and she will likely find haven there for so long as she desires it. I think she knows not yet that she has gained sisters, but I know my mother."

"She sounds like a fine woman..." The Eshu looks at the Bookmoibile, the sounds of a dragoling joyous "How about I go get some of those thanes to unpack some of the stuff for the local area, and then we see about your short cut with Earl?" A grin on her face "i smell adventure"

"That sounds fair enough." She nods.

"Bronte..." She calls out "The first three books you get in your library you get to claim... but only if you beat the thanes to them"

The Fahdalia winks at the sluagh, and starts to head to the hold proper "Oh thanees..." Almost musical

Oh that poor bookwyrm, only three? And she has to PICK now? Before Rollo and Oswald get them?

The little chimera is likely to work herself into a tizzy

Zara rattles softly in amusement.

And goes to find Earl, leaving Bronte to her own devices!

"I could eat you up, I love you so" Bronte protests merely picking three!

Zara finds Earl painting ... well, one might be jealous of him painting another woman, except the woman is a possum, who is wearing a jawa outfit. Yes, in critter form she's cosplayingg while Earl paints a grand alien desert scape.

It must be Emma has commissioned a gift for Oswald's birthday

The possum is posed like one of Jack's french girls.

And Earl rolls with that.

"Ah... hello Emma, Earl."

"Hello, my love" a smile curls his lips, "Special commision"

"I see. Lovely pose, Emma." The possum winks!

"I have to say, she's one of my better subjects," Earl says dead pan "Hardly any backtalk"

He will not speak of the time Vince had 'a few suggestions'

"Mmm." Saucy eyebrow.

A smile back "How are things with you, my heart?" he is almost done with the model, the 'french girl posed Possum Jawa' having shaped up beautifully, but the planet around her still forming

"Have you seen our eshu guest?"

"Fahdalia? Yes, briefly. Seems a lovely woman" He paints

Then he looks up "Emma, you've done your part. If you like you can go on, and I'll have the rest finished within a day. "

The possum blows a kiss, bows, and waddles out

Earl smiles , inclines his head, then once the possum is gone, looks at Zara, "In case you wanted it to be just us?"

She steals a kiss. "My thoughtful Hunter."

"So - I have requested Madame Fahdalia take a visit to Scarsdale. I thought - with dross - we could speed her and her bookmobile's travels?"

"Well, I am... better with props than some.. mosly a paint and paint brush level but yes, with dross" A nod "But why did you want her to go to Scarsdale?"

"Tziporah has spent this week at the mercy of the Uncles."

"So, it's a rescue mission then" A nod

Utterly deadpan

"Well... she would benefit from meeting one of her own kith, nu?"

"Agreed."

"And I should check in on my Project."

"Oh? I'll send you too then," A nod "Love do you want me to come along? I think I have a few days to finish this paintin if you like"

"It is up to you. The house is a touch crowded, but I never mind your company."

He looks torn, "no, it's a mite crowded I will be nice and leave be. Your folks nneed to focus on the fledge... knowing Hannah, she'd be nice about me being there, but I'd make more work even if I didn't realize. I may join you later but I'll send just the two of you and the van for now" And he kisses her

Zara kisses him back - as if paying in advance for missed kisses in the upcoming days.
