"Now, perhaps Da'an has placed you here for a reason - not just rest, but there may be aught here to aid your quest."

"I would like to puruse your library, for my and my sisters's sakes"

Zara nods. "That would be acceptable, yes."

"Thank you," SHe ponders "One of my sisters is a sluagh, if you wish , she might enjoy tea and might be more forthcoming? "

"She might..." A thought.

"There might be a place you, or one of your sisters, could seek for answers."

"I would be interested in such, if it's no trouble for you to share it?" Curiousier and curiousier

"Well, it is not a place for little girls. It is a place for witches."

"Oh?" She looks thoughtful "To be fair, we liddels, while not always enemies of witches, have probably fought with them more than been them. I do not know if I would qualify"

"You may not, but a sister may. There are good witches, nu?"

"I shall ask. I'm afraid the last witch I met I.well.. i wasn't even original but in my defense she was going to eat me and she did fit in the oven. I think she survived but I had time to escape"

"I am the last witch you have met, now." She sips her tea.

"oh, " She rises from the tea long enough to curtsey "If I may say? You are a vast improvement"

"Witches are a diverse lot. And you are a well-mannered girl. I shan't eat you."

"I imagine the lack of teeth discourages" She admits

"Well, other than the siblings who tried to kill me..." She considers. "It takes time. Time together. How many generations have been questing apart?"

"Oh.. Six generations I think... we do meet now and then... but it seems every year one of us ..well, lost"

"But never questing together - meeting and parting, scattered. Interesting." Sip.

"SOmetimes we work in twos"

"Aye."

"I don't anymore, not since Euphemia was lost"

"May her memory be a blessing."

"Yes, thank you" A sad look

"How many remain?"

"We are four... not an unlucky number"

"One for each season."

"Not entirely unfitting"

"Of course, only Winter and Summer have their say now"

"Mmm..." She demurs
