"Mm?" He peers down the hallway as well.

"Minvera..she's..something"

"Ah. Oh. Lady Minerva.....?"

"Of course. She's beautiful, smart...SO confident"

"She is yet to be Sained."August points out.

"That's what I meann, she doesn't even have that. She doesn' knwo if she's a queen or a squire.. yet she moves like the former. I KNOW I'm a baron and I feel like a twerp"

"Her actions are queenly.... we cannot speak to her feelings." he points out.

"I.. guess not" he says surprised "you mean she might not be as confident as she seems?

"I think it's possible that no one is as confident as they appear to be."

"I suppose so.. makes us seem a lot like liars thougH'

August nods. "I can understand that. I believe it is unfortunate that our Fae, and particularly noble, society seems to require a certain amount of obfuscation as to our true feelings and responses. It is 'Politics'." his distaste for the syndrome is notable "I believe there is value, however, in projecting the person you wish to be, and learning to grow into that role."

"I guess if you really ARE doing it for others"

"There is merit in doing it for yourself, I think. Perhaps more than fitting yourself to the mold of someone else.'

"Well I'm confused again" he sighs "Did you ever think the dreaming got your title all wrong?"

He smiles again, so gentle. "No. I know it did not."

"Well, so no one seems to think I'll make a good baron, " A frown "not even me"

"And yet the Dreaming judges you worthy of the title."

"I hope it knows what it's doing" He says wryly "Anyway, any other projects?"

"Are there others who are willing to meet?" August smoothly switches.

"Uhm? meet with... whatt?"

"Meet in person?"

"I guess?"

"Guess?"

"Sir. I asked if there ay projects you needed on the computer. Did I forget something?" Blush

"Oh, my apologies. I was thinking of your work with the, ah, on-line community and reaching out to Fae that might not solidly trust nobility. Other than that... I understand Mistress Zara is pleased with your work for the library?"

"Oh yes, that.. I mean, the communnity reach. Some are willing to gather but they want to do it at the key club. WHich at least is close"

August nods. "I would like to visit the key club."

"Oh? Surely I'll arrange it for the group but you can go anytime" He says "they're prety open."

"I think perhaps when the group is ready."

"Surely"

At this point, Sir Earl comes in "August? Is this a bad time?"

"Ah, no, Sir." he glances at Hume to coordinate.

Hume smiles "I'm fine. Uhm.. thanks for the advice, Baron" an inclinen of hsi head and he is off

Earl watches him go" How's the kid doing?"

"As well as might be expected. Mostly."

"Mostly? I m curious. Anything I can do to help?"

"It is, I think, a journey for the self."

"Ah, one of those" A nod "All we can do there is support him."

"Yes."

"Ah , almost forgot why I'm bothering you" he says "It's about doing something nice for Zara. Clem won't go into details, but tells me she's feelingg kind of down"

"She is?" August is alert "Anything. What can I do?"

"That's my prroblem with Clem so tight lipped, I am unsure what direction to take it. She says Zara needs to feel like commonners get something of their own?"

"She... ah, oh. I don't.... I'm at a loss."

"Me too" he admits "I thouht ASKING a noble and a fried wouold maybe kick a brainn cell for one of us"

"She knows we don't see, ah, eye-to-eye on the matter." August mutters, thinking.

"Something of their own? There is the key club, yes?"

"A good point, maybe I should take her there.. "
