"August, you were saying there was word from....?"

Siv gets offered the plate of cookies.

"Of course" Siv says "So this Drone guy, is he a knight in need of a hold or.." She takes the plate and holds it

"Oh, no...he's got one," Coradel says dryly. "This one. He's my heir."

And August pours tea.

"Heir?" A blink then a look at the Baroness "May I say you kept your figure?"

August clears his throat.

"Thank you, Baron" She says as the drink is poured

"Very welcome." He sets the pot down and looks his missives over again.

A briefly withering look to Siv. "He was assigned. And I am adapting. Ish. Now, August, what is in those papers?"

Siv doesn't feel fear, she's Fiona too, but suddenly she almost feels sorry for this heir, and, a sense of outrage .. it sounds like Coradel didnn't get to PICk this heir?

"Oh, ah, updates. From various members of the bannerhouse. Scarsdale."

"Oh, how are things there? Any improvement?"

"The Dame and Baronette certainly have their plates full. And there's a situation in Pittsburg."

"Awful sounding place. What kind of situation?"

Siv looks interested now

"It's not -entirely- clear."

"Baron, can we know the parts you do know? " Siv says
