So far, the subject seems to brush his hair a lot, flirt with everyone, and makes drinks for people. But to what devious end?

Benny bounces along. He's a kinian kid in a world of magic. And that's great. He's got mail to deliver!

And almost bumps into a troll lady, "Oh, pardon me!" the boy says searching for rank "Dame ?"

"Lady Captain," The troll smiles "Lady Captain Siv Waveborne. You all right there, lad?"

"I'm fine, Lady Captain!" he says "I'm just delivering mail to the Baron. "A proud look "i'm his page Benny"

"You're adorable" Siv smiles "Mind if I go with you?"

"NAH!" Bennny says "I'll protect you if there's trouble" solemn nod

"Such a grand gent of a lad," Siv smiles, and down the hallway they go. "have you tried the Baron Call?"

"the Baron Call?" The boy asks

"Hey, Baron Baron Baron.." She says, in a baseball 'hey batter batter chant' "Hey, Baron Baron Baron"

Benny beams "Cool" And he takes up the cadence "Hey, Baron Baron Baron... "

"Grand Baron" Siv mimes a bow instead of saying 'swing batter'

"Hey, Baron Baron Baron, Hey Baron Baron Baron..." They march chant together "Grannnnd Baron"

Coradel looks up from the sunny alcove where she and August are having a light lunch. "I think, my love, you are being paged."

"Literally."

"Here?"

Coradel sips her tea and watches with mild amusement as her husband hesitantly responds to the call.

"Hey Baron Baron Baron, Grrannd Baron" and a voice betweenn chants says "you have to say grand or something else respectful so the chant doesnn't offend"

"Got it, " Page Benny says "GRAANNNND Baron"

"Benny?" He calls out a little louder, standing and going to see.....?

"Ahem!" Coradel says more loudly. "That's enough of that, thank you!" She's still smiling. "If you weren't making so much noise, you'd hear he already answered."

And Beny says "Oh sorry! " He bows

Siv Waveborne bows as well, "My fault, Baroness, we both got caught up!"

"Lady Captain." a bow "Benny. Looking for me?" Sir Captain Obvious asks.

"Apparently," she gives Siv a grin.

"Baron, I got mail for you. From the Banner House" He rushes up "Some notes from Baronette Genua and Sir Carowyn, and Squirre Joshua too"

"Oh, it sounds as if they've been busy," Coradel observes, nibbling on a strawberry.

"Thank you. Coradel, do you mind if I look these over?" he flicks through the envelopes as he asks.

"Please," she nods. "Lady Captain, I did not know you were taking up page wrangling."

August begins to open and read.

"Oh not intentionally" Siv says "I just came to visit in truth. Maybe say hello, Hit Jack's, have some rum"

"That sounds like a worthy agenda. I might have to tag along."

August finds news, Scarsdale does indeed need help. Mortals there are not often a factor, and their love, famliial or otherwise, isn't thought of by Dougals and Nockers much . But Truthbranch is already helping shore things up, and even musing then sharing dreamers with the locals

Joshua's letter has the darkest news. He suspects a wife is being bespelled by a Child of Lilith from her husband. Perhaps to make her one of the undead, or perhaps to just enslave her for amusement? He is alerting the Baron so if he should vanish, the Banner House lord will know what might have happened

Siv says "I'd welcome that," She looks about with a touch of regret "Place still looks grand"

"Oh, I should hope it does! Though I do wonder how long before we start having wires and drones around every corner," she adds a bit wryly.

August looks most grave.

"Drones?" Siv blinks at that

Bennny says "Baron, do you have other duties? Or can I go play with Isis and Enri? "

"Drones, or...things." She waves her hand. "Lord Hume has very Dougal-y interests." Then a look of concern. "August...?"

"Mm?" He looks up "Word from... ah, yes, Benny. You're relieved for the time being. And thank you. My best to Isis and Enri."

"Thanks!" Benny beams and scoots off

Coradel slips a cookie to Benny before he goes. Three cookies..."take two to your friends."

"You're the best, Baroness!" Benny hugs her, then races off with THREE cookies to share "HEY Pooka Pooka Pooka, Grannd Pooka"

Siv says "I might have started something," Then a look "Drones or things? Long as they don't explode I suppose. Can't say I am big on tech past a cellphone myself"

Siv gets an eyebrow.

Sheepsih look to the Baron "oops?" Siv says

"Well, I don't know if it will truly be drones. But he does seem to have a...thing...for computers. It's proven helpful," she admits.

"Will you join us?" August holds a chair for the Lady Captain.
