"Sure.. thanks .. hey, I know it can get tedious for a man of action, but I Hope you have SOME fun up there despite it all"

A shrug. "Not there to have fun, Mr. Jack. There to get a diploma. And that's only a few months away so....."

"You're allowed to multi task and do both, kid"

"I'm allowed." he agrees.

"I'll tell Ms. DeBuke this is from you, with your compliments, to the ladies of the Farmhold." he promises.

"Appreciate it" He says "You go on, have some fun. Brenda tells me you guys enjoyed Poetry at least"

"The combat part was good." he agrees. "See you later, Mr. Jack." and he heads to the school-delivery.

And off he goes.

He doesn't fuss or fight anymore; he is compliant and his schoolwork is good. And if he's a bit withdrawn.... well. There's a shadow in his eyes that wasn't there before he started wearing black and a hat.

But, he is polite and participates in class.

It seems his teachers are being understanding and trying not to pester him to be enthusiastic. Word of his loss has gotten out

He doesn't make a big deal or play it up; Nab's memory is not a bargining chip, and he has more dignity than that. But if his teachers are willing to let him do his work and leave him in peace.... he can accept that.

Oh yes he still has to work.

When he offers the wine, Clem takes it graciously "Well, this is very nice. Don't get much of htis round here"

"It's from Mr. Jack. He runs a bar at EarthRunes."

"With his compliments."

"Well, we're not big on wine around here but I will not look a gift horse in the mouth"

"Please tell him thank you for us? And thanks for delivering"

"Iwill, and you're welcome."

Clem nods "And if you see Earl, tell him he's a chicken and he can'tt avoid us forever" A smile though

"Ithink maybe someone else might be best to deliver that message."Adam responds politely.

"mmph. Don't want to carry family cargo for us huh? Can't blame you" She says

"Thank you.'

She nods and moves on

As does Adam, to his next class. Math.... history..... science..... English.....PE..... music.....
