Vashti sees the symbol "Cast off thy nighted colors?" She ponders then nods "Thou seekest to honor the lost angel and turn your sorrow into a strength?"

Adam blinks, thinking about the questions carefully before nodding agreement.

"Strip like it's raining dollars if ye please" She says

Before he can get TOO panicky, she points to a barrier where he can wait and take his clothes off in private

To be fair, it didn't seem to make too much of a difference to Adam, but he takes the cover she indicates. "I'd like a few black armbands with this design, please. And pockets on my shirts? But on the inside of the chest." He indicates the spot (over the heart).

"Not an outside pocket, but sewed onto the inside." he shows her how, undistrubed about standing there bare chested.

"I don't do Nazis" She warns

But she does begin to work

"I'll bring the other shirts by later, if that's ok."

The clothes he has surrendered are taken, altered... quick silver aiding her speed

And she nods "By your leave, Lord. the order of the garter"

"I'm sorry." he says "I'm not sure what you're saying."

In addition to two 'regular' black armbands... she shows up others, also with the design, but looking more like a lady's favor

Adam touches them with a fingertip, but then shakes his head. "Thank you, no."

Vashti raises a brow "Why pray tell are my pearls being scattered?"

"I have no lady to wear this." quietly, a spasm of grief twisting his features for a moment.

She sighs and shows that it fits HIS arm. Perfectly.

"A gift of a lady is often worn thus in common soceity, and also medieval times, though she is long gone, her love for thee ? Hin hint?"

Adam shows Vashit the red silk bracelet he wears. "This is the true favor, but thank you for thinking of it."

"AH!" her eyes light up "Would you like me to..." She makes a gesture "Embiggen or alter or addendum or 2.0 this in some way?"

He shakes his head. "No, not at this time."

She hands him his clohes back, now altered as requested, and the two more regular arm bands touched to his request "Hair today, gone tomorrow but a tomorrow there shall be, lord"

"Thank you." he takes the items, and puts the shirt on.

Nab's symbol now over his heart (Facing in as he requested too) . It seems to help. The honoring her. The Ceremony. He is a sidhe after all.

(Inside the shirt, maybe the pocket has a heart symbol but his intent is to have a place to keep the red silk if he doesn't want to wear it.

"If there be nothing else, lord?"

"There isn't, thank you." he nods respectfully and heads back to his room.

If unaccosted, he will settle in again, seeking an equilibrium.

He finds Stevi "Hey, looking good, stud" She smiles

"Hello Stevi." His smile is a little sad.

She notes the black and the symbols "Oh she'd be so touched. I'm sorry about Nab's loss. She was a great little chimera and a friend to a lot of folks around here"

Adam offers a weak but sincere smile. "Thank you. She enjoyed spending time with you, Stevi."

"Yeah,me and Leonora... poor Leo is taking it hard. "

Adam nods. "I have thought of her."He stops to get control for a moment. "You have spoken to her? Do you think a visit would be unwelcome?"

"She's kind of down but you could try. "

He thinks about it a long moment, then nods. "I think I'd like to offer. Would you like to walk with me? How are -you- doing?"

"Oh, we satyrs are resilent.. actually we're... we process fast? I was a wreck when I heard.. but I bounced back fast... it's how we work usually. It hits harder, but we get up quicker?" A sigh "I miss her. I cried for her. But I know if she were here, she'd tell me to have a happy shag for her"

A sad but fond smile. "She would."

"Gideon and I have been working on a song for her wake"

"Wake?" as they walk.

"Like an Irish wake" She says "We drink to her memory, toast her friendship, joke about the good times, sing, dance.. .probably more drinking. It's like a funeral but less formal ."

Adam ruminates on this, then says "I didn't think Fae threw wakes for Chimera."

"We don't normally, but then.. she was no ordinary chimera. It wasn't my idea mind, but when it waws sugggested Gid and I had to go for it"

"Who suggested it?"

"Minerva" She answers. "She said Nab treated her kindly when few did, and that she thought that's hwo Nab would want to be celebrated. Tylar agreed it was sa good diea and... there you go"

Adam frowns and says nothing.

And they continue towards Leonora's rooms.

Leonora's room door seems to be closed

Adam taps gently at the door. "Dame Leonora? It's Adam Thomas and Troubador Stevi."
